You're absolutely mistaken. You have no sources to prove that, but I do!
PS3
VGChartz - extensive game chart coverage, including sales data, news, reviews, forums, & game database for PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch & PC
RESULT: 1.1 Million Units Sold.
*Estimated Revenue (2011-2017): 66 Million
XBOX 360
VGChartz - extensive game chart coverage, including sales data, news, reviews, forums, & game database for PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch & PC
RESULT: 0.78 Million Units Sold
*Estimated Revenue (2011-2017): 46,800,000
For a game thats been out for that long, less than 2 million units sold is a blunderous failure.
In the short term (1-2 years), for an IP to be considered a success you need approximately 5 million units sold global.
* = Estimated Sales doesn't include sales, promo's or other discounted instances.Comment

Look at ea ufc, its about the same numbers as fight night champion. Then look at 2k17 its not that far off either. Fight night was always a popular game and always got great reviews from everyone. EA UFC 2 was dogchit.Comment

They are making a new fight night by the way, this is facts. Trust me.Comment

weird. fight night round 3 outsold round 4 according to the list but the number is very similar.
i myself think ea sports should be trusted to make it. i think the other people have a much lower budget to make a new game which is why they havent made one.
and they should pay the boxers accordingly to how many units sold so nobody can moan.
hopefully next year around this time. i no another ufc game is being made. ufc 3 or something.Comment

You don't know shït about the gaming industry. Under 5 million units in 6.8 years is dogshït.Dont know about all that, i remember fight night being popular. Everyone played it. 1.11 million sales isnt really bad at all.

UFC 2 released 1.5 years ago and has done 1.12 million units (http://www.vgchartz.com/game/86173/ea-sports-ufc-2/).
The sell more untis in less time, thus is why they're selling UFC games and NOT boxing.
Notice they don't do a game every year? Because they dont sell enough units.Comment
