When Floyd beat Oscar he kindda overtook being the draw.
And the fact that there was no draw in the Heavyweight division.
Based on numbers, yes he IS the biggest draw.
Im not denying numbers. Those are facts.
Im just not buying this PPV King agenda. Thats all.
There is a reason why he did those numbers.
Date, opponent and pormoting the fights.
Right and Mayweather has done 1 million+ plenty of times without massive draws.

Ortiz, Guererro, Maidana, Marquez, Hatton all did a million.

Oscar was the biggest draw, he only did 2 million+ once, against Mayweather

Every single fighters biggest seller was against Mayweather except Marquez.

But he is the PPV King. He has to be. He's the common denominator in all of this.

Tyson you could argue. But then I could use your logic and say Tyson did 700 k with Botha, 450 k with Golota, 100 k with Ettiene and 250k with McBride.

    So it works both ways.

    Everything points to Mayweather.

Guerorro did not do 1 million. It did 800k. Just because Ezpinoza from Showtime says it did, that does not make it a fact.
Neither Maidanna fight did 1 million either.

Sure Tyson did horrible numbers. He came from losses and did hurts you numbers.
Mayweather pushed that undefeated agenda and the American public bought it.

Social media sure helps alot in this era.

No hater, just not a fanboy either.
You certainly sound like a hater. When people talk about mayweather being the biggest draw they're clearly talking about in reference to his generation. You reaching back for Tyson and Ali proves you're hating.

          I agree on that.
I never said he was not the biggest draw of his generation.

Those fights did do 1 million or just shy. What's your source for saying they didn't?

Again all you are doing there is giving me a reason as to why Mayweather sold so much. The reason is irrelevant. The fact is he did it.

He's the biggest draw of the PPV era.

Well, Tyson or Floyd. It's hard to judge pre social media vs post social media.

One thing Tyson and Floyd have in common is all of their respective biggest sellers have one guy in common; Themselves.

But Oscar at one point was up there with Tyson.

Mayweather stands alone in his era.

Come on now. Everybody knows that neither HBO nor Showtime ever officially releases their PPV numbers.

                  It did 870k.

over 4 million buys proves that people did want to see the freak show. It'll be decades until you see another fight do close to that.

Remember Floyd was like "buy the fight so my kids don't go broke" or something like that
