Meldonium in the Eastern Euro block, until it was banned, had its benefits to make those stars big...

Luckily we have pure talents like Lomachenko that perform naturally and entertain, regardless if Meldonium isn't around to help his relatively close regional fighters. Btw, we betting?

If that's the case then after he disposed of canelo he needs to immediately fight Ward at 175

Golovkin turned pro in 2006 and has only had one WAR in his entire career. He's far from done.

Marquez, for example, at 35 was a 15 year veteran and still fighting at 130 and had multiple WAR's under his belt against the likes of Pac x2, Barrera, Salido etc, etc.

GGG is still at the top of his game.

Heterosis ? He's half Korean and half Russian, so might have that hybrid vigour thing going on (of personal interest as my kids heterozygous too).

Its hard to judge whether he can maintain it to 40 at this stage. Rumours of his decline abound, but the jury is still out. His performances to date all have possible explanations that are nothing to do with him declining (Jacobs just very good; lack of mental interest in Brook etc). Or.....he may really be declining.

We'll see with Canelo. If he wins convincingly then we get to see more, if the opposite happens, we may not see him again.

Will he move up in weight ? I kind of doubt it. He's got Canelo, Canelo rematch (if he wins and it looks like they need to do it again), Saunders (or whoever else has the WBO), Charlo, Jacobs rematch, and that lot will keep him busy till he retires or gets retired by one of them (imo).

... the fact is that we still don't really know if he's declining or not... the Jacobs fight might have been a "trap" of some sort or a "fix" as well (with a view to Canelo fight), but we really don't know until next Saturday...

... I liked this "Heterosis" stuff... but wee don't have much scientific data on this...

Don't mean to butt in your convo with ang but what was up with the early morning weigh in for GGG and Jacobs? I've never seen or heard of a weigh in that early before that. I think it benefited Jacobs since GGG had a 10 pound hydration max.

... What you are saying is that Jacobs was "too big" for GGG, right?... and that GGG did not have enough power to stop him, right?... Well, I don't know either...
