What Doc tenma said. Floyd would have beaten Canelo anyway, but the catch-weight has been swept under the rug almost completey and Floyd has been given way too much credit for that win in my opinion. Canelo looked awful that night, awful. Especially considering how a healthier and stronger version of him (at 155 pounds) fought against Lara.

when you are 36 fighting a 22 years old who is much bigger than you a 152lbs catchweight is more than fair. but i'm not a fan of catchweights tbh, didn't like it when pacquiao did it either. u will never get the full credit if u win. but i don't think canelo looked drained, mcgregor looked like a zombie during weigh-in, he clearly had trouble making 154.
