Right? Right? I don't know what Crawford expects to do next with his career but Lipinets being somebody nobody gives a fucking shit about is clearly why he vacated...

None of us are dumb enough to think Bud ducked Lipinets, right?

If he moves up no one will care about this, but its clearly a bad look as we speak when there is no interesting fights for him at 140 that are likely to be made & one could argue Lipinets could be the most interesting fight for him at 140 right now thats easily makeable.
If the IBF forced him into an early vacating situation & he intends to drop all these titles soon enough fair play to Crawford, but if he turns around tomorrow to fight Maurice Hooker then its a really bad look. But if he turns around & fights Mikey, Broner or Regis at 140 then it'd make all the sense in the world.
So basically regardless of how anyone things Lipinets would fair vs Crawford its hard denying dropping a belt isn't a bad look for someone & you can ask Riddick Bowe & Canelo Alvarez about that. Or hell even Peter Quillin who dropped a belt himself awhile back in another weird situation vs a guy he was favored to beat. Dropping belts is becoming more common it seems, but its still a fairly bad look still regardless of who you are dropping it for.

Top Rank made a business decision, and Terence Crawford was cool with it.
Lipinets isn't going to be a cake walk, and it'd be pretty obvious that he openly ducked a tough fight if he chooses to still stay at 140lbs.

if he moves up then no..... but if he defends his other titles then thats a clear duck and no one can back him up after that honestly.

Crawford is using the Floyd Mayweather approach.
Duck the prime tough opponents like Lipinets, seek a fight with someone faded like Pacquaio.
