Canelo has more fights but against tiny, power puff punchers. GGG has definitely been in with much bigger, harder hitting fighters then Canelo. Jacobs was almost a light heavyweight when he fought GGG and still lost. Jacobs would beat the living stuffing out of Canelo. If that fight had taken place there is no doubt Dela Hoya would have shown up with a wheel barrel full of white towels to throw in the ring. This will be an interesting fight but will also be the first time Canelo is fighting a real middleweight not a 135 or a 145 or even a 155 pound middleweight. A REAL middleweightComment

People, including so called experts, babble about on about "wear and tear," but does anyone even know what that means? How is it different from aging? Are boxers who avoid beat downs and knockdowns also avoiding "wear and tear? Does an older person who leads a stress-free life, eats healthy foods and exercises have less wear and tear than a younger person who is fat and never exercises? Does a young combat veteran have less "wear and tear" than a civilian of the same age? Is "wear and tear" physical, or mental or both? Does living with an abusive spouse cause more "wear and tear"? What the hell does "wear and tear" mean?
In answer to your question, I have not trained any world champion boxers. I should point out that more than a few dim bulbs and blow hards have trained top level boxers. Should qualify them to be on the Harvard medical school faculty?Comment
