if that's ''fact,'' then why did industry troll headlines from Sanchez that Gennady was contemplating retirement?

Canelo has more pro experience which will help and more championship experience as well!

I saw GGG slow down in the second half of his fight with Jacob's!

Canelo's IQ, speed, counters is gonna give GGG problems!

Canelo made peace with losing to GGG already, he shook AF.

i agree, canelo was fighting grown men since he was 15 while ggg was taking over teens while using headgear until his early 20s...

I agree with this. He's had much more tougher fights.

Not true, Golovkin was a high level amateur fighter, he was fighting guys his age and even older. A lot of cuban fighters never turn pro, golovkin fought cubans older than him.

                Agreed.

And as far as wear and tear goes...Gennady is far worse for wear. Sure he has less professional rounds because his pro career is shorter than Canelo's.

However GGG is 35 years old and so he's got almost 10 extra years of sparring, laps at the track, bag work, lifting, etc. and he's definitely removed from "prime" boxing age. That's not to say GGG can't win, because he can, but one would be a fool to think GGG has an edge because he has less professional rounds against worse competition.

It's hard to say canelo hasn't gotten hit that much he has pretty good defense and if you see footage of his early fights he would win pretty easy. (He got caught vs Cotto's brother) and golovkin had a long amateur career and has been hit a lot in the ouma Jacobs brook and monroe fights
