no, you cannot debate someone..... when you are wrong

    watch, I will show you.....

    FACT:
neither of those guys made any concessions

    FACT:
    Golovkin was the B-side

    FACT:
Mr " anyone from 154-168 " could have negotiated on weight

    FACT:
Mr " businessman " could have accepted that 8-figure offer

    FACT:
Golovkin did absolutely nothing to make that fight happen

    ok, your turn.....

"No, not at all. I have my plan on when I'm going to stage that fight. I can easily say that this fight won't take six to eight years to make like Pacquiao-Mayweather was made. This fight is going to happen very soon, relatively very soon. I cant wait to make it happen," De La Hoya said."

You don't believe oscar was protecting Canelo?

"Canelo truly is a ’54-pounder. I mean, he is. He can make the weight with no problem, and Canelo and I and the team have that for 2017 he will move up to middleweight, full-fledged middleweight, and fight the middleweight champions of the world, and that’s including Triple G. At 160, that’s it."

So he's a "'54-pounder" in December then goes up to 164 to fight Chavez in May? Hmmm, yet he couldn't move up to 160 for GGG?

You have to admit Oscar protected him for some time.
100% correct. DLH is a "prize" fighting promoter who was protecting his cash cow. He admitted it in a recent interview. Just the business of boxing and DLH is a master at it.

kid, if you don't like the offer, but really want the fight..... then you make a counter-offer

you don't sulk, and give a potential business partner the cold-shoulder

seriously, how old are you ?

there was a negotiation because Loeffler returned Hoya's call

Loeffler returned Hoya's call because their options were to rematch Jacobs or fight Saunders/Charlo..... the sharks are circling so they took the money

the first negotiation died because Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refused to negotiate on weight..... despite OFFERING Gabe Rosado a catchweight of 158

the second negotiation died because Mr " businessman " wanted more money

you can call that whatever you like

        excuse huh..... ?

..... tell me genius, why do you think Mr "anyone from 154-168" was more than happy to face Rosado at 158 for a couple of mil..... but not happy to face Canelo at 158 for a HUGE fortune that will setup his kids for life..... ?

take your time, I will wait.....

        this will be good....

LOL! Again you've obviously have never done any kind of meaningful negotiations in your life. I'm not sure it was this thread or another one but I told you I do high level negotiations every year. I'm not saying I'm an expert but I get paid well for making significant deals. Anyone who is in negotiations knows there has to be good faith on both sides to even start. By the way you actually DO some times provide a "cold shoulder". If the offer is absolutely ridiculous one of the ways you let them know is by not saying anything, essentially saying come back to me when you are serious. Silence can be one of the most effective tools in negotiations. That way they understand they better come back with some thing half way decent. You and your minimum wage salary don't understand that. You don't have an f'n clue. LOL!!!

You are so dumb you actually contradict yourself repeatedly in this thread. Here's what YOU quoted:

"Oscar De La Hoya..... made an “eight-figure offer” to Gennady Golovkin promoter Tom Loeffler a month ago and never heard back.....

..... 30 days ago I made an offer to GGG and his people. I made an eight-figure offer. I believe it’s an offer that was two, three, four times what he’s ever made and haven’t heard back. And that’s the bottom line.....

..... All I need is for GGG and his people to at least call us back and negotiate and to take the offer,” De La Hoya said.

So which is it, did they call back or didn't?

You are confusing the first offer (back in 2016 with the one in 2017). I'n not sure if you are doing this because you are purposely confusing things because you're desperate or you really are that brain dead.

In 2016 there were no serious negotiations (the quote and link below are from DLH in 2016 after the Liam fight). The "offer" was ridiculous and thus it went no where. After the Jacobs fight this year then DLH became serious about negotiating and as DLH said the negotiations went easy. Thus the deal was made. BTW DLH always wanted Canelo to fight Golovkin in 2017.

        https://www.******.com/465555-oscar-...ure-offer-ggg/

Fight Charlo? Again you are totally uneducated about basic facts. Charlo wasn't even in the equation until about a month ago when he became the mandatory.

Each time I think this guy can't sound anymore idiotic than before but you continue to amaze me. You now confused the fight discussions in 2016 and 2017. You brought up Charlo's name which was never a fighter even on the radar this whole time. LOL, when you hate as much as you do (though I'm starting to wonder maybe you're one of DLH's cross dressing buddies trying to protect him) you start making up crap or getting confused.

Again I'm over all of it, I'm just glad they are fighting. I don't have any ill will against DLH (he was one of my favorite fighters for most of his career) or Canelo. But when I hear you Golovkin haters trying to pin the fact that they didn't make a deal last year on Golovkin in any way I know that is BS. You have to be a complete idiot, hater of GGG or nut hugger for Canelo (maybe in your case DLH).

This conversation has gone on long enough. You've been castrated. No need to humiliate you any further.

Thanks it is obvious but I have a bad habit of engaging with idiots far too long (I guess that makes me one too LOL!). I'll try and take your advice.

In actuality I think things worked out pretty well for Golovkin. He got two good money fights and I do think the Canelo fight is just as big or bigger now than it would have been last year. Even with the Floyd-Conor fight taking away a lot of the limelight.

I don't believe a thing you say kid

you suggested that Loeffler should give Hoya the cold-shoulder, and then pretend to lose his phone number..... like some heart-broken schoolgirl

I don't think you would have the faintest idea..... I doubt that you have ever held any kind of meaningful negotiation, and I don't think you would know a good fighter if he punched you in the face

just like the rest of the ****head casual-fans who jumped on Hypekin's bandwagon

              stop fronting you fanboy clown

stop fronting, and answer my question kid

you talked ****, now back up that big mouth

that is an open-question, anybody can try.....

especially since Mr "negotiating expert" Diego Rodriguez shat the bed over that question

..... why do you think Mr "anyone from 154-168" was more than happy to face Rosado at 158 for a couple of mil..... but not happy to face Canelo at 158 for a HUGE fortune that will setup his kids for life..... ?

                this will be good....

anybody who thinks that Golovkin is blameless for the delay.....

should easily be able to explain why Mr " 154-168 " was happy to negotiate on weight with the average gatekeeper Rosado, for peanuts..... but not happy to negotiate on weight with the world-class superstar Canelo, for a HUGE fortune?

                    answer that question, or STFU

                    yes, or no.....

..... considering the fact that Mr "anyone from 154-168" was more than happy to face Rosado at 158..... could he have negotiated on weight with Canelo?

                    yes..... or, no ?

if you answer simply, yes or no..... I promise that I will not force you to suffer the indignity of having to explain why he refused

Snooze . . . . I've answered you numerous times. You're too dumb or confused Grandpa Simpson to understand.

BTW there was absolutely no reason for a catchweight as evidenced by Canelo fighting at 164lbs in his first fight of 2017, the same year when DLH said he wanted to fight Golovkin. LOL! You're a big dummy.
