BBB side fans getting their excuses lined up. BBB side was the same fighter last year, he just wasn't fighting guys on house arrest. I am sure after the fight they will all call robbery or claim BBB side was too old. This isn't a Mayweather/Pacquiao situation where he waited until almost 3 years after PAC got KTFO to fight him. BBB side is the same fighter he has always been, and will be after he takes that L in a few weeks.

Even in the Mexican press Canelo took the heat.

But you can believe whatever you want.

I never called Canelo a ducker. I said if the fight didn't happen this year than I would have called him one. The fight has been made and I'm focused on that.

      ***it.....

considering the following facts, you are a moron for blaming Canelo

      FACT:
neither of those guys made any concessions

      FACT:
      Golovkin was the B-side

      FACT:
Mr " anyone from 154-168 " could have negotiated on weight

      FACT:
Mr " businessman " could have accepted that 8-figure offer

      FACT:
Golovkin did absolutely nothing to make that fight happen

      stop being ******

Says the gullible fool. It is obvious why you don't do any type of negotiating, you aren't very smart.

There were no negotiations because DLH made it clear by his initial take it or leave "offer" that they weren't serious. It was not a good faith starting point. JMM told you exactly what it was. He wasn't the only Mexican to say this by the way, Canelo got hammered in the Mexican media. If I offer you $10 for a $1000 coin I'm not serious about the purchase. How you can't grasp this is beyond me.

Funny how Golovkin didn't do anything to make the fight happen yet one year later DLH says it was easy. It was easy because he dropped the ****** weight excuse and they dropped the flat fee take it or leave it offer. Once DLH was truly serious it was easy. Golovkin wanted this fight.

Here's the thing your opinion is only held by the biggest of Canelo nuthuggers or Golovkin haters. Nobody in the boxing world (media or boxers) that I have seen have publicly blamed Golovkin that the fight vs. Canelo not happening last year because of something he did or didn't do.

You could have left it reasonably peaceful but you're a moron and what tards like you do is continue to mouth off ****** crap when they are thoroughly embarrassed. Later chump.

          haha wut ?

kid, if you don't like the offer, but really want the fight..... then you make a counter-offer

you don't sulk, and give a potential business partner the cold-shoulder

seriously, how old are you ?

there was a negotiation because Loeffler returned Hoya's call

Loeffler returned Hoya's call because their options were to rematch Jacobs or fight Saunders/Charlo..... the sharks are circling so they took the money

the first negotiation died because Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refused to negotiate on weight..... despite OFFERING Gabe Rosado a catchweight of 158

the second negotiation died because Mr " businessman " wanted more money

you can call that whatever you like

          excuse huh..... ?

..... tell me genius, why do you think Mr "anyone from 154-168" was more than happy to face Rosado at 158 for a couple of mil..... but not happy to face Canelo at 158 for a HUGE fortune that will setup his kids for life..... ?

take your time, I will wait.....

          this will be good....

It was the right time for Oscar. It's not like he could have put it off any longer.

"Last Saturday's outcome, and Brook's success in the fight, will not influence De La Hoya to alter his course of action in staging the Canelo vs. Golovkin mega-bout.

"No, not at all. I have my plan on when I'm going to stage that fight. I can easily say that this fight won't take six to eight years to make like Pacquiao-Mayweather was made. This fight is going to happen very soon, relatively very soon. I cant wait to make it happen," De La Hoya said."

You don't believe oscar was protecting Canelo?

"Canelo truly is a ’54-pounder. I mean, he is. He can make the weight with no problem, and Canelo and I and the team have that for 2017 he will move up to middleweight, full-fledged middleweight, and fight the middleweight champions of the world, and that’s including Triple G. At 160, that’s it."

So he's a "'54-pounder" in December then goes up to 164 to fight Chavez in May? Hmmm, yet he couldn't move up to 160 for GGG?

You have to admit Oscar protected him for some time.

                so yea, I completely disagree

how the hell did Oscar make Golovkin **** the bed regarding that "154-168" stuff.....?

and how did Oscar make them refuse an 8-figure sum..... and then make them refuse to discuss a counter-offer?

                tell me.....

how are you going to blame Hoya for Mr " 154-168 " ****ting the bed over weight with Cotto.....?

because Golovkin should have made that fight as well

he OFFERED Rosado 158..... but then totally refused to negotiate on weight with lil old faded 153lb Cotto..... how are you gonna blame Hoya for that?

Golovkin should have made that fight as well

it is ironic that Golovkin is gunning for Hopkins record

Hopkins negotiated on weight with a SUPERSTAR in order to make a big fight

                  Golovkin..... did not

and, it is like you guys forgot who Hopkins negotiated with

I am very surprised that Canelo is fighting Golovkin at this point

he could easily have waited until after having a couple of lower-level fights at 160, to acclimate..... and to get a little more mileage on Golovkin

they should never have considered handing Hypekin any kind of advantage..... because of his numbers

but..... oh well, he gets it in September
