I think it did around those numbers. It was 2 top names in there respective sports coming together. Plus as much as I hate to say it but the fact that it was black vs white also helped it go up to those numbers.

This fight was for casuals and the average sports fan.

Yep. For whatever reason a lot of boxing fans had a hard time believing that this fight was big to NON-boxing fans & thats a much bigger audience.

This fight did huge numbers thats for sure. Not sure I believe any number being released this soon doe, but if it does end up being 6.5M or more I wouldn't be surprised.

Nope. Estimates mean nothing until verified by official sources and that only happens months after a ppv.

Many in the industry even believe the 4 million figure for May/Pac is exaggerated and the realy number is more in the realm of 2.8-3 million but anywya, I don't really care.
