I'm glad the fight was so entertaining now. Worst case scenario was 6.5 million tuning into an absolute *****show. I don't think boxing would recover for years had that been the case

Regardless of the numbers, Floyd fans will act as though they are getting a check in the mail from Floyd the way they celebrate his PPV numbers.

Initially I never thought it'd beat MayPac but their promotion was BRILLIANT. McGregor did a fine job especially. The closer I got to the fight, the better it looked like it was going to do. Everyone was talking about it. You know when casuals on the street are talking about a fight, it's going to do well commercially. The only 3 fights I can remember that happening in the last 5 years in the UK has been May-Canelo, MayPac, Joshua-Klitschko, Froch-Groves and MayMac.
