Call me Crazy but Garbrandt vs Lomachenko is a good crossover fight.

See Garbrandt's skills, he is gifted with his upper body movement and foot work. He'll do good in boxing and probably reach elite world level, and they are the same weight class, Garbrandt is 5'6 at 135, while Loma is the same height and at 130.

He has the best boxing ability in the UFC but noway should he fight Loma, he would get killed.

    Levels man.

He has no star power unlike Conor, let him work his way up like everyone else.

I wouldn't hate Loma's chances in that fight if he took about a year to prepare like Conor did for Floyd. Cody is largely a standup fighter himself, was 32-1 as a amateur boxer iirc. And Loma has non-boxing fighting skills from his youth. If he worked on re-upping his sambo game + working on some wrestling/bjj. Believe Cody was just a HS wrestler & didn't start BJJ til he started MMA so its not like he's super advanced like a lot of guys. He's largely winning fights on his hustle & energy level along with his boxing. So I LOVE Loma's chances to beat him. I've said in numerous threads I think Loma is one of boxings best bets to do well in MMA.

All that said while Loma isn't making HUGE money in boxing yet, he's making more money then I could see him making in MMA so I couldn't see it happening.

Edit: oh sh^t I thought we were talking about Loma going into MMA not Cody to boxing. Cody vs that guy Tank fought might be interesting lol. Idk that there is THAT much money in boxing for Cody just like idk that there is THAT much money for Loma in MMA in these lil guy divisions.

His boxing is good for mma, but look at his amateur fights and sparring footage and he looks really slow and wild, he looks like a monster by the ufc standarts and is a great mma talent, but once again, the times of mma fighter being good enough to dominate a single discipline, are far away.
Cruz is nothing like Loma, he doesn't knows how to throw, how to cover, he just uses lots of movement to create angles but in completely different way, just because he has some attributes that Loma has it doesn't means that they fight with a similar style at all.

Garbrandt has a 32-1 record as an amateur boxer i believe but no way should he fight Lomachenko
