It feels like you are gerrymandering his resume because Floyd is being called the best of his generation ahead of your favorite boxer Manny and because he defeated Manny by lopsided UD.

You just said Kov was A level ecause he was 30-0-1 and clearly ahead of everyone on his resume. Meanwhile, Hatton and Corrales, who were undefeated when they fought Floyd, you call B level even though they had a better record than Kov.

No Floyd fan minds having a rational discussion about his resume.

    • There is only 1 Prime A level fighter in Boxing History. Everyone else is flawed.

Ali- Lost to a crackhead w 7 fights, Floored by Lhw Cooper in his prime

Joe Louis- KOd brutally by an average max Schmelling. Knocked down by half the bums he fought

Marciano- Ran into retirement at age 32 after being floored by geezer LHW

Robinson- 19 losses. Floyd has never even been touched 19 times.

Leonard- lost to Terry Norris. When Floyd was that age he was shutting out Canelo.

I have Floyd top 10 but I'm not mad at top 15. The issue with your argument is that it's too early to know who will be considered "A" level and prime years from now.
Canelo is A and in his prime imo (ppl say he was too young but Like Floyd he took on beasts and legends at an early age - Floyd became a lineal champ vs a legend at 21) Floyd was also 36 at this time.
Hatton was in his prime and undefeated (B - we'll see how history looks back on him)
        Corrales in prime A
        Castillo in prime A
Zab Judah in prime (B- we'll see how history looks back)
Cotto in prime A (he was 31 with losses only to Pac and margocheato - he did well in both fights; losing doesn't make you past prime) cotto went on from this fight to become lineal mw champ.
Shane A (past prime but came off the destruction of Margo and was literally the most feared ww in the division)
Jmm A (past prime Idk he was 36 and went on a tear of great performances including the ko of PAC after he fought Floyd.
He is a 4 division lineal champion ... would have been 5 if he fought hatton at 140... think about that. He also fought past lineal champs as well. If Floyd had lost one of these fights I'm sure This rhetoric wouldn't be spewed so freely. He's just that great period. You don't have to move the measuring stick.

Well losing doesn't necessarily make you past prime or not elite but I see what you're doing
