Pacquiao disnt fought Barrera at his end though that was at the secobd fight. In the first fight Pac fought a 28 year old barrera who was having wins with the likes of Naseem Hamed, Morales , Ayala. After Pacquiao defeted Barrera first time Barrera went on to defeat Morales at the third fight and be on the P4p list till the day Pacquiao beat him the second time at 33 years old. So Barrera was prime when Pacquiao fought him the first time.

I can see that. I guess I started watching MAB so early on back in 95. He was like 21 I think and so he was long in the tooth when Pac fought him for me since I'd been watching him for so long, but yes, at 28 he was far from done. Was Pac's coming out party and one hell of a win.

All fights are close and coukd have gone either way except for the fourth fight. Regardless if its close or not Pacquiao had a prime Marquez in his resume abd didnt have to rob him for it because their fights were close and either individual could get that win but it was Pacquiao. And Pacquiao was actually the winner in the 1st fight had the judge not scored an ERROR in his cars qhom he admitted Pac wpuld have won had he scored it correctly And dont start revisioning history in the second fight manyscored it 6-6 and 7-5114-113 115-1127 to pacs favor so dont act like it was a robbery like what Ward vs Kovalev ended in their first fight. What people don't realize is that it's about what a fighter does after his defeat that makes or breaks them. Like Floyd beat a young not a level yet not prime canelo but look at what he has done since. It makes that win look good. But at the time Floyd fought canelo he was NOT prime nor was he A level. Anyone that disagrees is obviously a Floyd fan boy.
