So Barrera was prime when Pacquiao fought him the first time.
I can see that. I guess I started watching MAB so early on back in 95. He was like 21 I think and so he was long in the tooth when Pac fought him for me since I'd been watching him for so long, but yes, at 28 he was far from done. Was Pac's coming out party and one hell of a win.

Corrales was a consensus undefeated top 5 pound for pound fighter at the time. He was A level. Hattonbwas A level. Facts. But you probably weren't watching boxing at the time.

And Pacquiao was actually the winner in the 1st fight had the judge not scored an ERROR in his cars qhom he admitted Pac wpuld have won had he scored it correctly And dont start revisioning history in the second fight manyscored it 6-6 and 7-5114-113 115-1127 to pacs favor so dont act like it was a robbery like what Ward vs Kovalev ended in their first fight. Should we discredit SRL too against Hagler? Or Ali against Norton?
i'm not discrediting anyone, didn't u create this thread to do just that with floyd? why are u talking about other boxers now anyway ? are we comparing manny to floyd or not? no one in his right mind would rank pacquiao higher than mayweather, especially since floyd whooped his butt. floyd is the best boxer of the last 20 years, get over it.

Adrien Broner was a consensus undefeated top 5 pound for pound at the time Maidana beat him was he A-level too? P4P dont mean **** when you have Broner reaching top 5.

Corrales had been beaten by May. So it is up for grabs whether or not he could do great things to be a-level after the KO and be an A level prime win for Mayweather. Nope, he got repeatedlt Koed and then clottey ended his careee. He is not A level! And Hatton the same!

No argument therefire resorting to rhetoric. You can get out of this thread now since you have no substance in this topic. And I do talk about other boxers. I talk about RG, the LH contenders and other boxing history. I made these threaads when floyd fans started to say Floyds resume is on par with Ali and SRR.

What people don't realize is that it's about what a fighter does after his defeat that makes or breaks them. Like Floyd beat a young not a level yet not prime canelo but look at what he has done since. It makes that win look good. But at the time Floyd fought canelo he was NOT prime nor was he A level. Anyone that disagrees is obviously a Floyd fan boy.
