I want to give Canelo the benefit of the doubt and say he lasts at least 9 rounds, he's shown some heart in the ring and I don't think he'll stop trying even after he realizes he's outgunned, so as long as Golovkin is careful....GGG TKO R9

Yea. Everybody knows how mentally weak GGG is. Growing up poor, enduring the deaths of his older siblings, struggling in Europe before making the decision to change management and move to the USA...where he has worked his way to where he stands today: at the pinnacle of the sport of boxing.

All of that drive and determination in the face of adversity will ultimately leave you vulnerable to the tepid braggadocio of your opponent. Why bother fighting at this point? He should just admit that Canelo has destroyed his mind and retire.

Seriously doubt Canelo punches harder than ggg. I don't think cotto or Chavez jr would've went 12 rounds with ggg the way they did with Canelo.

I seem to remember Lemieux (and others) said the same thing about himself before the Golovkin fight. Re-watch that fight and see how Golovkin dismantled him. They all have a plan until they get hit. Canelo is certainly on a different level than Lemieux so it should be interesting to see how he handles himself. Two and a half weeks away.

and what top competition has Canelo recently faced and looked impressive against? It's generally the case, the better the competition is, the less dominant the performance will be. Pretty sure ggg wouldn't have any trouble with the trio of khan, Smith and Chavez jr while Canelo wouldn't have looked as impressive vs brook and jacobs as he did vs those 3 cans.

Canelo lost to Trout?? Not one website has Canelo with 2 loses and Trout with an extra win. I did see him drop Trout and give him a bloody mouth. As well as bambi-legged trout 2-3 more times...
