He didn't "stop" his power. It was never there including that weak uppercut that didn't even make Mayweather blink.

McGregor is not known for any kind of power in boxing let alone Tyson.

judging by your "you guys" comment in regardf to boxing fans i'll venture that i absorbed 100 times more in the 10 rounds i watched than you'll ever know about that boxing match

kid i've been watching boxing since MMA was a side show with the two biggest guys from the bar. floyd mayweather was a championship level athlete and an olympian when the UFC was a tough man contest, and connor mcgregor was an irish schoolboy

go back to your tapout forum, please. the men are talking boxing.

what if floyd wasn't 40 years old, hadn't boxed 50 fights, and didn't retire twice before taking the fight ?

if mcgregor wanted to make a debut, move up in the ranks, take fights in vegas aginst gatekeepers i guarantee you he loses before he even gets to floyd. the first puncher he faces would take his head off. not my problem if you don't see the flaws in the style of a guy who fights with his chin up like a ballet dancer when he goes against a puncher, or a guy he doesn't outweigh by 15-20 lbs.

just be happy for him, he made a bunch of money you'll never see by getting your hopes up enough to allow him to steal it right out of your pocket

Conor and Floyd are laughing at all the fools that bought the fight

Conor and Floyd want to thank all the suckers who bought PPV and bought tickets to their WWE fake scripted fight. Conor caNNOT BOX AT ALL and even 79 yr old black mammy maxine wa wa Waters could hit the open stance Conor. Conor can box about as well as Floyd could spell. But thanks to all the morons who believed this was a real fight each of these showmen received lifetime high paydays. Barnum and Bailey circus might have shut down but there are still suckers born every minute. Floyd could have taken out clumsy awkward caveman Conor at any time.

So you're saying if Conor had stayed in boxing he'd have murdered Floyd, the best fighter of this generation.

So in other words, you think Conor would be far and away the best boxer on the planet, had he stayed boxing.

Could you ride his d**k any harder?

I didn't pay to watch the fight but I am one of those suckers who thought Conor would go in there more aggressively and really try n ko Floyd, not try to outbox him. The way Mayweather looked, if McGregor just had stamina to go 12 rounds at a good pace it looked like he could win quite easily. So it's good Floyd didn't fight Thurman, because he would have lost on points. Also GGG, if he could get down in weight, and Crawford would be a nightmare for Floyd now. But he got the massive paycheck and now can go and sip luxury drinks and just not train hard anymore.

It's impossible to reason with these people.

The 2 rounds Conor admittedly took early on have now somehow swelled to 4 rounds in their mind? And some are even saying 6 rounds???? WTF....

And even when they hear Floyd come out himself and say, "my tactics were to walk him down, and take him out late", and Floyd fans telling them, this is what Mayweather does, they are still like, 'dem first 4 rounds doe!!'

Hasn't occurred to them that Floyd barely threw a punch in the first 2/3 rounds and only kicked on in Round 4!

And they are still mentioning Conor's power! After 40 year old, retired, 20lb lighter Floyd walked through him!

Agree with the article on here earlier, looked like an old pro sparring a newbie, moving him round the ring and forcing him to work.

The fact that a non-boxer won 4 out of 10 rounds rounds against Mayweather in his first boxing match ever was impressive.

At least now that Floyd acknowledged Conor skills. They should be able to realize what you had to go through with Notorious.

Their favorite excuse for you is you carried him to 10 rounds while you got hit cleanly over and over like as if you did that on purpose lol
Got hit cleanly over and over? hahahaha

Floyd threw 5 punches in the first round, man, that's less than 2 punches per minute LOL. And in the second round he threw... 8 punches!!! LOL. It makes 13 punches in 2 rounds, man, more or less 2 punches per minute hahahahahaha ridiculous. And people still think that floyd didnt carry him hahahahahahaha, delusional fools.

Probably, he was so shocked that he forgot how to throw a punch!!! isnt it? hahahahahahaha.

no no, let me guess, after those 10 first seconds floyd was afraid of connors power!! hahahahahahaha.
