I said the boxing gloves would be a problem for McGregor. From what I saw Saturday night his power is below average and Paulie made it seem it was a little better than that. That uppercut should have put Mayweather to sleep.

Somebody should make a thread thanking mystic mayweather for finally quieting the UFC and casual fanboys on the topic of fighters. The quiet won't last long but for today at least there is silence. Now they can go back to watching the sport they really enjoy. You're right about how people treat sparring stories. However in this case it was sparring pictures and video and EVERYONE was paying attention. PUNCHY is convinced that Paulie got whooped in sparring based on the stories and short clips.

I can understand if he was sparring a boxer and they put out a video of him appearing to be knocked down. However, Paulie knew what he was getting into. He said it himself when he showed up to spar and they had a bunch of big wigs and a camera. If he was confident McGregor had nothing to offer as a boxer you either let it go or say it one time. Paulie knew he was part of the show. The fight is over and he's still try to convince us McGregor is no good. We all saw that for ourselves on Saturday.
