Paulie knew he was part of the show. The fight is over and he's still try to convince us McGregor is no good. We all saw that for ourselves on Saturday.
Sure he knew he was part of the show...that doesn't mean he has to accept what he believed to be blatant disrespect and sullying of his rep. As for him trying to still convince folks....nah....he is in the I told you so phase right now. And guess what...if the talk lands him one more pay day in the ring...good on him.

I knew this when MMA guys like Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping stated it.

Logically he was never going to be a big ****er.

I thought his jab was pretty impressive. When you consider he was a rank novice you have to be impressed with Conor.

Conor would take Floyd's face off in about 2 minutes in MMA.

Maybe all that means is it was a fixed fight though? Who knows. It's getting to be very strange that all these bigger guys fight the best defensive boxer, only to, on the night of the fight, magically decide to try to outbox him, and out cutey him, instead of actually throwing hard shots and trying to bully him. Canelo tried to outbox him. Conor. Cotto. The three biggest guys he fought all didn't even try to impose their size. With Canelo maybe you can say that's just how he fights, although he at least stalked Lara (that was at 155 though instead of 152 so fair play, half a weight class less drained will do that for you), but who knows.

I mean, Conor kind of fights a boxer's style too, so again, fair play, but that doesn't explain why Floyd didn't throw a punch the first 9 minutes of the fight and yet Mcgregor already appeared to be dead tired. How does a work class athlete tire out in 9 minutes without even running at all during that time or taking hard shots, and only throwing half-power punches? It's su****ious to me. And if you're a bigger MMA fighter boxing a great defensive boxer, why would your gameplan be not to throw hard punches in the first place early in the fight, when you're fresh? Shouldn't that be exactly when you go for it with hard punches, when you have the energy?

Ever since figuring out that Floyd-Ortiz was fixed, I am second guessing every fight I watch lol. Was Gatti-Ward fixed???? Lol nah I don't second guess that one, but pretty much every other one, at least involving Floyd or Oscar (Ortiz's promoter), I am second guessing. BHop's body shot KO of Oscar? Oscar randomly deciding not to engage for 3 rounds against Tito after dominating and Tito getting the controversial decision? I am definitely questioning those now. A body shot especially is very easy to fake because no one knows whether it actually hit the button on your liver or not except you. All you have to do is collapse and grimace on the floor and not get up for awhile and it looks real. That fight made BHop a star and helped him generate millions -- now BHop and Oscar are business partners. Just saying...

Yeah I agree, just like if Conor had been in with any 154 active boxer he'd have been wiped out in 3 rounds.

Mma fighters just don't punch like boxers, the snapping, digging, twisting of punches, hip and leg movements etc they just don't do it, Floyd looked off the cuff on Saturday and still looked a million leagues about mcgregor.

Yea Paulie told it like it was. Tend to believe when this footage gets released its going to fit Paulie's narrative (8-4ish Paulie) vs Dana's (10-2 Conor) or Conor's narrative (12-0 Conor).

This is coming from a guy who can't punch a hole in a paper bag and got put down in sparring then lied about it. Shut up.

He's a professional martial artist with an abnormally long reach. If he doesn't know how to throw a jab he shouldn't even consider himself a fighter. Also Floyd is the better athlete, had Floyd trained mma his whole life (I'm not saying he'd be undefeated) but he'd be better than Conor just based on work ethic, reflex, eye hand coordination, and fast twitch muscle.
