Jr, if we put an asterisk on 40yr old retired Floyd's record for fighting a bigger UFC 2x champ in his prime. Then, put some asterisks on Rocky's 49-0 for fighting old retired Joe Louis, Joe Walcott, etc., then retired in his prime to avoid upcomers Floyd Patterson or Sonny Liston rather than go for 50-0.

What an absolute douche. Mayweather paid respect to Marciano in the post-fight interview. He just made himself like a jealous, bitter old fool. I bet his dad wouldn't have said anything if he was still alive.

You can make a case that every fighter has asterisks on their record, in the end, a win is a win.

Any legitimate boxing fan that actually calls this a record should be permabanned.

We all know 49-0 is not a record. Stop letting mainstream sports networks determine how you see things. They made this a point because everything in sports today is some kind of "record" because casual fans find that appealing.

Floyd finished 50-0. Ok, we move on.

Mayweather is 50-0 as of today. Are bums of the week not part of boxing tradition? Historians will tell you it is. For people with short memory, top boxers fought carpenters, teachers, doctors, farmers, drivers and people from all walks of life. From that logic, all boxers should have an asterisk on their records.Conor is far from being called a BUM.

It is what it is. In m y opinion Floyd should cherry pick 10 more opponents an d get to 60-0

Come on now bad comparison Floyd does all this anyway. Did he fight Spence, GGG, brook or Thurman?
Its that Connor has never boixed.
