But, yea, Money definitely looked like a retired fighter. Not anywhere near the same as he was, even a couple years ago. But, who cares? Are people actually getting a hardon over the fact that Floyd is aging?? lololol..
i dont know about getting his ass beat, he looked more tired than hurt if he didnt tire it would have gone the full 12 and no stoppage and the best fighter in the world would have gone the distance with a guy with zero boxing experience and people would have brought up that floyd was old and shot as an excuse

He should retire tho, he's 40 and he's done it all, but not bc he's shot; he can still beat a lot of guys. So he'd probably lose to Spence, Thurman would be tough, definitely gets embarrassed by Crawford, but physically and stylistically Crawford would have always been a nightmare.

Conor McGregor fought the best fighter he could have - making as much money as he could while taking the least 'elite' punishment, but he certainly didn't lose to a "shot" fighter. Floyd can still fight.
I would say he was/is very close to shot, so I agree with the other guy. Reasons? He couldn't get out of the way of shots for starters, also consider that it was not a top tier fighter throwing them, his footwork has also diminished significantly, his legs just looked unsteady, and his timing was not there, although that last part could equally be the layoff as well.

I agree with you that he could probably have beaten a lot of contender level guys last night, and would still compete against anyone (barring a KO) but any of the champions from 147-154? I think that would be tough for him now. Crawford? No chance.

Connor lost to one of the best of era. But brook, Spence and Thurman would have beat Floyd last night. But that's ok . Floyd only fights people when he thinks he can beat em.
Pac would have beat him too, and Porter would have steam-rolled him.

            Obviously.

Floyd is unranked, two years out the ring.

Any top 147-160 knock McGregor dead in 3 rounds maximum.

A 40 year old washed up Mayweather just battered and stopped him for crying out loud.

Except that nobody but the casuals believe he's anywhere near the best in the world at this point. TBE is an illusion anyway. It's Floyd fans and nut lickers who created that belief and because he never got an 0 on his record it makes some fools believe it's the truth. No fighter is the best ever...Ali wasn't the best either. Pacquaio wasn't the best. These are foolish claims.

I remember when people said Floyd's legs were gone during Cotto lmfao. Floyd fought in a way we're unaccustomed to is all you reallllllllly saw tonight. Granted he didn't look like no spring chicken + I suspect not doing any sparring for a month did him any favors, but I think people are thinking Floyd's strategy to beat Conor suggests certain physical things are true. I think he'd have fought a entirely different fight if this was a top ten caliber guy in boxing & with him not sparring I suspect this fight woulda been pushed back further if he was fighting a better guy as he'd wanna be in better shape with all that time off.

Ali wasn't 'TBE' but he is the greatest, it's different
