lmao could you imagine Floyd trying to walk hearns down like he did Connor? He would get completely rekt

FM wouldnt be able to use his pull counter against hearns jab because hearns jab was too long and quick
He wouldnt be able to outbox Hearns either who had a lot more power and knew how to use his reach against smaller opponents.

You had to outhussle hearns to beat him, Floyd doesnt have those gifts. I would give Errol Spence a better chance to beat him because of his strength and similarities to Marvin Hagler.

Not necessarily PEDs. It's just that 154 has become more of a relevant division so guys who could have made 147 previously with better training simply stay at 154.

Also, Pac and May were so good, they could move up ion weight and compete in divisions that weren't made for them, in particular Pac who likely would have been the perfect lightweight or light welter but chose to fight at welter. Also, it was made possibly by the class of the late 90s, early 00s moving on in their careers and welter becoming vacant with some subpar guys winning titles.

We still got a few big welter like Marg and Mosley but they faded for various reasons.

I think Spence is a big welter at 5'9'', almost as big as Oscar, Mosley and Tito at the weight. Thing is, he lacks their skill and speed.
