Connor Mcgregor gave the blueprint on how to beat Mayweather

Tall southpaw with decent speed and power would absolutely give Floyd fits
Its no secret Floyd always fought shorter guys in his career with shorter arm lengths

If Floyd is forced to come forward all of his best assets are nullified like the pull counter, lead left hook and even to an extent the lead right hand.
He tries to counter on the front foot but he found that difficult last night, even against Zab Judah he was forced to use those tactics of keeping his hands up and breaking guys down.

Ive always said that Floyd would have problems had he fought taller skilled guys, because he would no longer have the advantages he does against smaller ones. FFS a over the hill Oscar De La Hoya won 4 rounds against him.

Could you imagine FMW trying to stalk and walk down someone like a prime Thomas Hearns or even Sugar Ray Leonard?

Floyd is great but hes not the best ever.

It was an exhibition fight. And Floyd carried McGregor in the first 3 rounds. Floyd has nothing left to prove. He won all of his fights and he is a millionaire.

This fight proves nothing. Even Maidana of 2014 would've beaten this version of Floyd Mayweather Jr and then individuals like you could go on to claim Mayweather struggles against aggressive pressure fighters (although that's obviously not true).

This fight only proves that THIS VERSION of Floyd Mayweather Jr would struggle, not only against tall rangy southpaws but against any elite boxer due to age and declination of boxing abilities. If you want to know how Mayweather would do against a tall rangy opponent, see his fight against Tony Pep:

That was a young Floyd Mayweather Jr, not a 40 year old version, WAYYYYY past his best.

at floyd always fight shorter man than him.

FYI there are no blueprint for beating floyd, the man is master at adapting tactics through out the fight. yeah some man maybe can steal 2-3 rounds from floyd at the start of the fight but at the end floyd will always figure them out and win.

maybe someone can finally beat floyd. when he 42 years old and made anotther come back in 2 years time.

                That's ridiculous.

Floyd put his hands up and walked to Conor.

He could have just as easily fought like he did in the 2nd Maidana fight and shut him out for 12 rounds.

Im talking about elite guys naturally bigger/taller than him in the 147-154lbs weight classes, guys like Demetrius Andrade and even Erislandy Lara.
Floyd would never fight opponents like that, and for good reason. Not saying Floyd wouldnt have won, but him being the best ever? I dont think so.
