If McGregor just had better stamina he could have won on activity alone, that's how bad Mayweather looked in there. Walked him down later yes, but also doesn't have the legs anymore.

There are few fighters who fight as cautiously as Floyd. Plus, he's 40 years old, busted up hands, and coming off a two year layoff. Any of the top fighters from 154lbs to168lbs will stop Conor much earlier than Floyd did.

        Obviously Floyd is past prime
People need to stop harping on the 2 year layoff like it means anything. Someone with 20 years of boxing knowledge and experience doesn't just forget how to do something just because they haven't fought in two years. It's not even the first long layoff Floyd has come back from before.

Even the 40 year-old thing is way over exaggerated.

Are you that slow you didn't realize Floyd let him win the first 3 rounds by not punching at all?

Yeah this is the fact that shuts down any credit for McGregor winning those rounds -- Floyd didn't even throw. And the tiny amount he did, he still landed at a higher %. To me it's obvious that he relinquished those rounds, probably just to fatten up the fight. I mean the dude walked into the ring with a balaclava, robbing everyone blind. Yes he didn't look great, but he also didn't need to.

If they were the same size Connor is out cold early lol, a UFC giant with 20lbs weigh advantage that a small 40 yr old after 2 yrs of retirement just walked him down and beat up. lol

Yeh it's painfully obvious boxers **** harder

Difference is with the UFC is the gloves I guess

Mosley has proper power and clipped floyd a treat and it hardly shakes him

Connar never had a chance better fight than expected though so fair play to both men

Was sweet to see mayweather on the front foot

Exactly. I think Froch or Macklin said it on Sky that Floyd was basically doing all the things you're taught not to do from day 1 in boxing, basically just following the opponent around disregarding whatever is coming back. When could you ever say that about Floyd?

It was essentially a much better fighter just stalking his opponent and breaking him down. It must be the least technical i've ever seen Floyd. That genuinely was easy work once he had a look at Conor for a few rounds.

Its not about forgetting its the sharpness. Also the older you are the longer it takes to get that sharpnessback after losing it, not to mention that you are gradually declining to begin with.

Except no one can quantify that to it's exact degree + it depends on the individual.
