McGregor didn't care as much about getting hit, because he knew that Floyd wouldn't really hurt him with his shots. Mayweather came forward way more than he usually does, but let's be real. Conor was scared to death of Floyd after the 1st Round. Floyd threw 1 straight right to the body. Conor not once commited to his punches the rest of the night.

He simply threw lazy arm shots to keep Floyd off of him. He gassed out and Floyd won easy. Floyd won every round but 1st. Conor had zero effective aggressiveness.

Round 5 was a solid Floyd round in May/Pac, certainly not one of Pacquiao's best. I thought the fight was close and could have gone either way depending on what the judges were looking for. I knew Floyd would get the nod in Vegas though which is one of the reasons I bet on him. Neither guy really did much or landed much in the way of punishing shots. Majority of people in the USA think Floyd won, majority of people in the Philippines think Manny won. It is what it is, patriotism is real. Floyd is now officially retired (again and I think final retirement), Manny will hopefully retire for good by the end of this year. Both guys from their last fights are nothing like their primes. They show each other respect... why can't their fans.
