Mid volume maybe, not full blast.
Can you show me highlight reel of all mammoth punches he took? Not that many.
So his defense is better than chin.

Of course everyone is thinking what if McGregor lands one of those big left hands... I think Floyd can survive last time I even remembered him getting hit hard was in the 2ND vs vs Mosley and he recovered from that in what, one second ?.. all the other quality Fighters he fought no one really ever had him hurt or in trouble especially Fraudverez or Pac..

Floyd has an excellent chin, although he hasn't been hit there that much. He has a hard head too, like B. Hopkins. So, Conor has to aim for the temple and the body, although he will try to hit Mayweather anywhere to break him down. Even though McGregor has a sleight height n decent reach advantage, he can't try and outbox Floyd from the outside. Attack, but do so intelligently and fight at a pace that he hopes Floyd can't at his age now.

May keeps his chin tucked in most of the time making it very difficult for his opponents to hurt him. In addition, if his reflexes hasn't slowed all that much, then he should be able to see most of the incoming fire power from Conor McGregor; Which will make it even more difficult for Mac to land a punch and hurt Floyd.

If he fought Floyd in the cage like he fought Diaz, Floyd KOs him in there. Mac wouldn't be touching Floyd in the stand up and his only chance would be to take him to the floor, something he really doesnt do.

exactly... That first fight with maidana was the most punishment ive seen floyd take since the castillo 1 fight.... Maidana was dirty with rabbit punches and low blows... That fat ass tony weeks let all that go also... In the 2nd fight kenny bayless stopped all the holding and rabbit punching and low blows but maidana slipped that right hand with his own huge right hand almost dropped floyd.... Maidana is way bigger than marquez and hits harder... I wonder what would happen to manny if he took that same exact shot like floyd did... Even cotto, canelo or manny never hit floyd with such a huge clean shot like chino did...

But how tough he is is unclear. He hasn't taken sustained punishment

a guy boxes at the pinnacle of the sport for close to 20 years and you don't know how tough he is?

have we seen him take punishment to know that he's chuvalo? no, because his defense is better and he never fought punchers like that [and he's not a HW.]

but do we really not know how tough one of the best boxers of all time is? after 50 fights and a pedigree amateur career? really?

I do foresee Floyd being a lil cautious though while focusing on the body, then at about the 3rd, he will land some respecting shots, then finish in the 8th. Itll be a suttle breakdown.
That's not really true. Conor is a counter puncher by nature.

He showed plenty of toughness in the Cotto, Maidana, Chavez fights. To a lesser extent Hatton too.

He shouldnt forget defense is his forte. His chin is not granite, just solid.
