For what that's worth. I realize this doesn't make him a good person morally in any other area. Just saying, why judge. His professional life -- the only thing the public knows about him -- is an impressive record of taking total control inside and outside of the ring.

News flash, boxers are violent people. Domestic violence is a problem in society period, athletes are no exception.

The real story is that women still flock to him and others like him (abusers) as long as they have money.....

there are real narratives in REAL LIFE of men beating women consistently. Be it friends see their girl have marks on their face, known husbands or boyfriends drinking and then get aggressive, stories where the assaulter did something one month then the next weeks to the next days, throughout a span of years and numerous assault charges with pictures of battered women like Chris Brown.

Look at Floyd's ''domestic assault'' charges. They are one time incidents. The women could've easily detailed a series of events under the spotlight in court and fueled by their lawyers that we would know about up to now. Then one of the wives confessed in court that she was lying.

Nobody's disagreeing with you regarding beating women...that's just ******, but considering Floyd's profile or how Mel Gibson was destroyed.... you really think news goes soft on high profiles figures? Making big stories and exaggerating out of context is what journalism is all about

Yet they get a pass. In general you tend to find that "geniuses" are flawed. Michael Jordan was a bad gambler, Tiger Woods had problems, I could go on and on. It's like let them live their lives and stop being moralistic. None of us know what they have had to go through and deal with, what we would've done or the 100% truth.

Does that mean we shouldn't give him credit for his career or hate him because he did some ****** things? No. Everybody makes mistakes and we shouldn't hate people for them. Oscar is still a legend in the sport.

Hit piece by ESPN. Basically telling folks don't buy the fight and give money to this disgusting guy...yet ESPN has used Floyd and this fight to drive ratings for all their shows and clicks to their site. They have been a huge part of promoting this fight since it was announced. So a little late in the game to now act like you standing on a moral high ground bringing up his domestic violence history.

That's part and parcel of commiting a crime like that, he is a public figure who generates click, so yeah this would be brought up time and time again due to his popularity. It is something he knowns he would have to deal with.
