If people dig deep enough there are hundreds of high profile men in the entertainment industry that were accused of violence against a woman. It's crazy that these women in the media want to pick and choose what they take a stance against. You better not listen to a Chris Brown or Jay Z song then. Don't wear Beats by Dre.

He pleaded guilty because it was the smart move. A trial and conviction could have done more damage to himself and whole family.

It is what it is. We the public doesn't really know the truth. Why judge?

He seems a bit dicey to me overall, but he also seems to have good qualities. No point in judging him.

I think they should drop it. He went to jail for it and he has done nothing wrong since then. He isn't perfect. Few are. There are and always have been pro boxers fighting who have done far worse things than Mayweather ever did. Pro boxing isn't the boy scouts. Either is pro football, baseball or basketball. Top athletes are in the spotlight and under the microscope.

Bruh he was sentenced for domestic battery in 2002 then twice in 2004, long before the 2011 guilty plea/jail sentence for a separate case. He beats women.

My issue with it is the same issue i remember Patrice O'Neal having with a few guys getting torn down in the industry of comedy. Its the difference between building someone up because they're bad vs tearing them down for maybe the same reason, but the intention determining why its happening. My issue with this story is they reported it already. They did this after knowing that around the time that it orginally happened.

They have been reporting the same story, multiple times since the Cotto fight.

Then again vs Maidana.....and again vs Pacquiao....now with Conor? Most people are willing to let a portion of their common sense go in the midst of a person people are seemingly supposed to dislike anyway. Yet with this situation, they continue to ultimately expose their bias because if Floyd is such a bad guy, why not just stop reporting his fights? Simple. He makes them money. So why even make it your priority to do this when in the end you can neglect to report on what he does? If he's such a bad guy, take a stand and refuse to cover the story. They won't. They'll just say oh its my job, which again, its a repeated rhetoric.
