That's cool, and I agree. It's really not a big deal. I don't turn a blind eye to it, if there was "concrete proof" he did it then i'd criticize him for it, but to this day there's been no photos/videos so I find it odd that everyone assumes he did it. Yeah he went to jail, but lots of people go to jail for things they didn't do. Not trying to change minds I just find it odd that people are still going on about this like it's the worst thing ever. He went to jail, people need to get over it. Sugar Ray Robinson was a woman beater, Sugar Ray Leonard did drugs and cheated on his wife with a million different women, so what? These guys are still 3 of the GOATS.

I don't condone it if he really did it but he's the highest paid athlete in sports, if he really did it where's the photos? Obviously if he did it that's bad, but everyone makes mistakes and he did time in jail for it (Imagine going to jail for something you didn't do). So he paid for it whether he did it or not. So they need to let it go already. They want to take away all his accomplishments because they think he's a woman beater, okay, so are we going to do the same thing with Sugar Ray Robinson who admitted to doing it? Or forget all the great things Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya did in the ring because they became addicted to drugs? Of course not! It's got nothing to do with the sport. If you don't like Mayweather outside the ring that's understandable, but he's the GOAT of this era and one of the GOATS of all time and that deserves respect like him or not.

I remember before the Maidana fight people grilling him about this and he prevented those who said these things from going to the fight. Hypocrites. I don't like it either, but nobody says Ray Robinson's not the GOAT because he beat women, or that SRL wasn't great because he did drugs. It never even gets brought up, and it shouldn't. That's their personal life nothing to do with sport. Pacquiao, DLH, Arum all these guys have got tons of skeletons in their closets. Yet they get a pass. In general you tend to find that "geniuses" are flawed. Michael Jordan was a bad gambler, Tiger Woods had problems, I could go on and on. It's like let them live their lives and stop being moralistic. None of us know what they have had to go through and deal with, what we would've done or the 100% truth.
