Such bull****. That's why I'm not as excited for this fight anymore. Only if GGG looks spectacular again will I believe he still has a legacy run in him at 168 or 175, but in all honesty, that should have happened years ago, after the Canelo fight, which should have also happened years ago.

But, this is why boxing is broken.
Mayweather vs. Pacquaio is a fight that happenmed years to late but i think GGG vs. Canelo happens at exactly the right point. I think 35 is still a verry good age for a middleweight and GGG has never get beaten up bad. He is not shot in any shape or form and Alkvarez is in his prime, i think it happens at the right point and GGG gonna win by knockout, believe that. A few years ago it would have been a missmatch, now its a more interesting fight.

gotta retire for 2 years and wait for everybody to beat each other then take Keith Thurman from the welterweight division and beat him. Gotta follow his mentor.
This sounds about right. At the moment, if he can't beat GGG, he stands little to no chance of beating anyone of the top guys at 160 (Jacobs, Charlo) or the hungry contenders at 154 (Charlo, Andrade, Hurd).

So he'll use the Floyd strategy of "retirement" while they all fight one another and sort out the scraps afterward. Catch them when not at their best.

This is why so many boxers protect that 0

Just look at Kovalov? Now everyone is saying he SUKS and was over rated. For WHAT??? Losing to Ward in a decision MANY felt Kovalov won. And then that CRAZY ending in the 2nd fight...With VERY suspect low blows and no warnings. Sht even Ward stopped for a 2nd thinking he was going to be warned.

I would bet you any amount of cash $4$ Canelo would beat Colonel Saunders and his KFC fat looking self.
No, he's not gonna get a big payday no matter who he fights. Canelo will get much bigger payday for fighting GGG.

So many people don't even give Ward credit for winning. They both lost credit. It was a crappy outcome and they haven't received any acknowledgement. There should be no excuses come Sept 16. It seems like a fair fight. Canelo is younger and GGG is used to the MW division.

They both lost credit indead! I felt tje ref. did a TERRIBLE job. And Kovalov went ****** for thinking the ref. was gonna help him at all.

I don't know if Ward would of TKO'd him the next round or not but it was stopped to early. I've seen fighters a bloody mess and still allowed to fight. The round was almost over. And Ward was robbed of a possible HUGE WIN.

                Ward has 2 controversial wins.
                Kov. has 2 controversial losses.
