    IMO this is CHEATING!!! You used a loophole to try and win! While the other guy was trying to play by the RULES!!!!
    Wow probably the best post you have had stated on this site. Green k sent couldn't agree more working the rules to gain an advantage. Total punk ***** move.......by Jacobs. And still lost

      honestly, this rehydration weight nonsense needs to stop

      FACT: if you can make 160, and go 12 hard rounds..... then you are a middleweight

      some may have to work harder than others, so what

      if a fighter drains himself to make weight, he will get found out

      especially at the top level

      until he moved up to 160, Charlo was a JMW

      until he moves up to 168, Lemieux is a MW

      who cares what those guys rehydrate to ?

      the total amount of functional muscle-mass and conditioning that you can take into a fight is determined at the official weighin, NOT 1 day later..... excess water-weight, or rehydration weight, can even be detrimental

      in every division, some fighters will be slightly bigger than others, so fkn what?..... there used to be only 8 divisions, and a much higher weight disparity in many matchups

      it is impossible to have every matchup happen between fighters who are identical in weight

      we have 17 divisions today, and again..... some fighters are slightly bigger than others, so what?

      waaaaah, small doe

      hmmm.....

      in boxing, what is more over-rated.....
      * rehydration-weight
      * " P4P "
      * powah

      I will need to have a think about that
      This is the fight game people can get seriously hurt or even die in the ring. When a fighter steps in the ring there is always a chance it could be his last fight. Think about it just like you said. Weight bullies enhance the chances even further

        This may be the best choice unfortunately. Since in a unification bout, the IBF was the only body requiring a second day weigh-in. This way if one fighter tries to gain an unfair advantage by rehydrating early, so can the other. It kind of sucks though, because it allows fighters to circumvent the attempted fairness of the weight class system.

          Exactly! It was a HUGE unfair advantage. One guy having hours to hydrate while the other guy already has 24 hours on you...

            Thanks! I try to be fair. That is a dumb rule and could potentially get a boxer seriously hurt. One guy having up to 48 hours to hydrate while the other one has hours depending on the time of day of the same day weigh-in is...

                  On the flipside, it shows the greatness of Golovkin, he fought and defeated a near, borderline cruiserweight in Jacobs who tried to game the system by any means possible.

                    I was VERY impressed. And the BEST part about it was Jacobs was the runner...He fought on his back foot and whenever he tried to engage??? He LOST the round he had WINNING. And his corner yelled at him for it.

                    That was very odd.

                    Another one comes to mind on the next GREAT hype GGG and Canelo are ducking...
