The votes are exactly how they should be.

Oscar clearly in first, pac second, then floyd followed by hatton.

      Right on, BoxingScene!

Oscar De La Hoya he's been the top draw outside of the heavyweight division for years.

In England, it's Amir Khan ofcourse.

In America, still Tyson I suppose? Otherwise Oscar(?).

Internationally, where popularity translates to the currency of the various realms, I think, It's Oscar far and away. Even at the time when Roy was there. Oscar's fights were often brought to many Asian countries and broadcast on free tv-- scarcely the case even for a Roy Jones, Jr. at the peak of his fame. This only means that Asian tv suits believe they can make quite some money (advertising) from Oscar while Roy and the others are less compelling.

Oscar De La Hoya is the single biggest draw in professional boxing. He is at the same status as Tyson was, but in a different fashion. The general public tuned in to watch Tyson for different reasons....he was unpredictable and he was an exciting fighter because of his punch and his rough on the edges lifestyle. The general public tunes in to watch Oscar because he's a classy guy with Movie star qualities and will give you a good show most of the time. I only say "Most" of the time because of his antics in the Trinidad fight.

Needless to say, he's the king of boxing and there's no two ways about that. He might not be the best P4P fighter at the moment....but he's certainly the most recognized to say the least.

dela wins this with ease, nobody is as recognizable as oscar. oscar is known around the world and, more women know who oscar del a hoya is than any other boxer by a landslide.
