I think it is more accurate to say..... timing usually beats speed, IF the two fighters are of equal ability

keeping that in mind, and considering what you said about Golovkin's jab.....

I agree, but..... GGG is not fast, and Canelo has GREAT timing

I know that Chavez/Khan are not Golovkin, who is MUCH better than both..... but, Canelo has GREAT timing

he also excellent defence, an under-rated skillset, and more importantly..... a good pedigree and experience, he has faced guys with great jabs

I think that fight will be a lot closer than people think, and the winner will be a sore boy

not sure if it will be the war that people think, not early anyways, but it should be a great fight..... and I think it will go to a decision

there likely won't be much in it..... but this is a young man's game, and I knew that Canelo would be stronger at middleweight

you shouldn't forget that ginger boy is not in the same class as geale,wade or monroe jr..he's at least 2 classes above..against jacobs he got exposed..ggg has no defense..his power only works with stationary c level guys like the names I mentioned above.

How is winning a close competitive fight by UD being exposed? By that logic did Canelo become exposed against Lara? Did Canelos power become exposed against Chavez Jr? That was the definition of a stationary, drained opponent.

At least Geale, Wade and Monroe Jr were actual middleweights fighting at 160, not some 155 catchweight in order to gain a weight advantage.

For someone with "no defense" why wasn't he KO'd by arguably the biggest puncher in the division with Lemieux? Why didn't Jacobs go for the 1 round KO like he did against Quillin? Surely that would have been easy against a guy with no defense.

Trout ain't chop liver. The Bigger better Charlo Brother had his hands full with him. And the crowd boo'd the decision because a lot of ppl felt Trout won. It was funny seeing the MUCH smaller man hold is own against Charlo.

Canelo's best win is Trout, Golovkins is Jacobs. Don't think there's much difference tbh, except Trouts smaller. So at middle GGG has the advantage.

Good set of posts. I can't wait for this fight to come, I'm tired of posting these same things over and over. Hey maybe Canelo wins and all props to him. He hasn't IMO come close to facing anyone like Golovkin. If he wins it truly will be a tremendous V.

I agree with you on that. Well know alot about Canelo if he wins. It'll fully answer about he's chin and heart, because Golovkin doesnt stand off. He's not going to sit there and be countered.This will be a fight.

Even if GGG wins I will be looking for more hater comments to say he's nothing. Both of these fighters are very good. I will buy this fight
