Timing and precision always beats speed. GGG's jab is precise and well timed, once he sizes up Canelo, I think both the Golovkin jab and his ability to cutoff the ring will give Canelo alot of problems. GGG has one of the best jabs in boxing, it's precise and does damage when he connects frequently, which he should since Canelo is a flat footed boxer. We'll see though, GGG's defense will need to be excellent, otherwise Canelo may win on points.Comment

No clue. The hold up is Bob trying to low ball a lil because he knows Rig. Is old and desperate. And his usual rematch BS. Rig. So far has agreed to EVERYTHING even moving up to full 130 like an idiot. But he's old and doesn't have much time left in boxing years.Comment

Canelo is built like a tank, guys like that in boxing tend to gas easily.
I honestly would tell GGG not only to be active, but give the illusion of activity. Which is something he does.
GGG offensively creates a tiresome mindset as he cuts off the ring and constantly puts his opponent in a position to have to fight back. I'd also like to see GGG use the clinch to nullify Canelo. Canelo would be wise to do this as well. The purpose I have for Gennady Golovkin doing this, is I believe he is stronger. Make Canelo tired anyway you can.Comment

Golovkin can't fight like he did against Jacobs. He can't be tentative. He can't fight hard at the end of rounds. If Canelo is standing at the end of the fight, there's a 90% he's winning the fight. If Golovkin doesn't get a KO or put a severe beating on Canelo, it's his fault, and he will lose.Comment

I can tell a casual fan as well....We already know you think Canelo is dog sht piled on top of more dog sht. And I won't explain to you how the open scoring killed the Trout fight. And he had no heart. He KNEW every round where he stood and did jack sht about it. Lara fkn RAN!!! He was boo'd soo badly and use also dont count body blows casual idiot.
What round you got GGG KTFO of Canelo???
I didn't say Canelo didn't win the Trout fight I just he wasn't dominant. I thought Golovkin beat Jacobs but it wasn't a dominant victory. Many of the top fighters have won and not been dominate (Ward, Mayweather in present time too).
No one who watched the Lara-Canelo fight came away impressed with either guy. Lara literally ran (and don't say that often) and Canelo couldn't for the life of him figure out how to cut off the ring. I didn't have a big issue with the decision though I'd probably have given it a draw.
I do have Golovkin winning by 10th round TKO. I'm very interested in the fight as we'll learn a whole lot more about both guys. Canelo has the chance IMO to finally accomplish something in the ring to measure up to his fame. He wins this and he'll be a Mexican legend IMO.Comment

He was in there with the best of the best, and he got well beaten. Lara was debatable. He's best win is Cotto, who had lost at welter, lightmiddle, and beat a one legged man. Who on he's record prepares him for a hard punching middle again? He's gotta be the underdog in this one.Comment
