"power" is sometimes confused with accuracy, technique, timing and speed. And if there is power behind all those other 4 things...that is what makes a fighter dangerous. Floyd has these qualities and that is why he is so talented. Also that is why every single fighter respected him in the ring no matter all the trash talk before the fight. Nobody ever just walked through his punches, even guy who out weighed him by 10-15lbs. Once they were in the ring with him thier "plan" or "blueprint" was foiled and Floyd's skill and ring intelligence proved to be superior. Plus he has an ability to adjust in the moment. That is his most underrated and least talked about attribute. Most fighters do what they do and thats it. Floyd adjusts when he needs to. Always has.

its called group think. the same reason floyd got the decision against pac. floyds good but you underestimate the corruption that helped him get there and his opponent selection helped him gain even more of a cult like following. he kept winning although against good to mediocre comp and the acolades kept rolling in. he never had any great wins so he kind of won the peoples praise juts by not losing which once again comes down to corruption and opponents. how does a guy with no great wins become the best? be the last man standing and letting everyone kill themselves. good strategy i suppose

McGregor will be surprised by a lot of things on the 26th. He'll be surprised how quick the punches are getting to him. He'll try to slip a punch and realize the punch is already at the place where he's moving his head. He'll try to throw a straight left and hit air. He'll get the wind knocked out him by a jab to the stomach and wonder he's dead tired in the 2nd round.

In the end he'll get paid well to be the recipient of a classic beat down.
