Floyd's power is similar to the older Bernard Hopkins.... it's not massive, but enough to stop opponents from doing what they were planning to do.
Completely different to someone like Paulie "the feather" Malinaggi who is genuinely a weak puncher.
Floyd, like Hopkins will often sacrifice power for speed and accuracy as well as defence when he throws his shots but no one wants to give him a free shot to load up on.
P4P Floyd hits harder and a hell of a lot sharper than Nate Diaz who had Conor in all sorts of trouble with his punches in both fights.
Daggum has some decent points about Floyd stacking the deck in his favour, choosing favourable opponents and also about Pacquiao arguably landing the harder punches in their fight but come on..... how can you be a boxing fan and not appreciate the exceptional technique which Floyd so obviously possesses.
Even if you don't like the guy outside the ring, or his chosen fight style inside of it, his technical mastery should imo be respected by all boxing fans.
I don't see why any true boxing fan would be supportive of a McGregor victory in this farce, even if they dislike Mayweather. If McGregor beats Mayweather it is a humiliation for all of boxing......for years to come.
