Ali backed it up against greats in their prime. Knocked out some of them too.

Obviously its you that don't know **** about boxing. I've been watching boxing since before your Dad was born so get the fcuk outta here you wannabe.I've trained in a boxing gym since I was 10. No amateur or pro bouts besides sparring. Watched boxing my whole life, learned it's history.
What does this have to do with the fact that YDKSAB and made a completely ridiculous argument?
Please tell me. I just want facts based on logic.
What evidence is there, historical or otherwise, that Tyson would have ended Ali in 6?
LMFAO I can't wait to hear this.
Do you even know what logic means?
Evidence? I told you. Look at the hook Cooper landed on Clay that almost sent him through the ropes. Cooper was a bum and Clay was a sucker for a left hook. Doug Jones man, I keep repeating myself but you don't respond. Clay lost that fight. Insert Tyson into that fight and Clay sleeps like he just bought a Serta.
You just repeat what other people tell you.Comment

And Ali lost to Leon Spinks, Larry Holmes, and Trevor Berbick at the same point in his career as Tyson was when he lost to Lewis.
Why would you pick a fight at the end of Tyson's career and not compare young or prime? Doesn't make sense.
Cooper dropped him with a left hook and Cooper was a bum.
Replace Tyson with Cooper and you think Ali gets up?
Doug Jones whipped Clay's as$. Insert Tyson in those fights and Ali loses.Comment

I was always of the opinion that the pre-exile Ali would be the version of The Greatest most susceptible to a prime Mike Tyson. Sure the pre-exile Ali was much faster and able to avoid lots of punches but he was also less experienced and prone to get rocked, and knocked down, from left hooks. The version of Ali that would trouble Mike the most would be the Ali that fought Foreman. Nowhere as fast as he was earlier but iron chinned and vastly experienced. He would tie Mike up and frustrate the hell out of him. Probably stop him late. Just my opinion though.Anyone who thinks this is delusional and DKSAB. Tyson wouldn't have won a single round vs. a prime Ali.
Ali took punches from the greatest knockout artist the heavyweight division ever saw in George Foreman, laughed in his face in the ring after Foreman hit him with his best shot, and actually asked Foreman if that was all he he had. Foreman replied "Yep, that's it" before he knocked Foreman out. And just so you know, prime Foreman KOs Mike pretty easily.
Greatest chin heavyweight division ever saw. Greatest hand speed, greatest footwork too. Do not disrespect Ali by comparing him to Mike.Comment

Ali had charisma, stood for something larger than himself, help give his people back pride in themselves.

the only reason cooper scored the KD in the first place was because ali was playing with him. he predicted to stop him in 5, he was trying to force his prediction. he was carrying cooper and almost paid the price for it.Comment

Clay and Jones boxed a six-round exhibition in Louisville, Kentucky on October 27, 1966. UPI called it "humiliating" for Jones, who had hoped a good showing might get him a rematch with Clay, then known as Muhammad Ali and holder of the World Heavyweight Championship. UPI reported: "Clay toyed with Jones, landing his patented jab time after time. At no point did Jones land a solid punch."

Ali would have BURIED Tyson. Tyson couldn't beat a blown up cruiserweight. He beat a bunch of nothings on his way to building up his hype machine.
He lost to BUSTER DOUGLAS at a time when he was supposed to be invincible LOL.
Your so called evidence is a joke. Yet, you base your ridiculous argument on it.
If I were you, I'd go to the doctor for a check up. You're delusional to begin with but now you're showing symptoms of senility and exposing it for public view.Comment
