Interesting theory, but no part of me believes there is any fix in Canelo/Golovkin. They both want to win that for tons of reasons. Golovkin makes a ton of money, and only gets a double-dip with the rematch if he wins - he's going all out, so is Canelo.

Mayweather/McGregor on the other hand could be manipulated, but only by Mayweather (imo). Floyd is good enough to make the fight non-competitive and win every round of a 12 round stinker, even finish it sooner if McGregor tires of missing and getting countered over and over again. Chances of rematch = zero. Or....Floyd could decide to cruise a little and take the risk of letting MCGregor hit him a bit, even hurt him. Why ? Over 100 million reasons why, as if he held back enough so that it came off as a competitive fight, people would want to see it again, and they both pick up another 100 mil each (or even more) for the inevitable rematch. A lot of incentive there for Floyd to make the fight look like something it isn't. Would Floyd prioritise another 100 mil over his ego ? Would he even want or care about another 100 mil ? Would his ego be better served by a lucrative rematch and the money that comes from it ? Floyd could do all this without letting on to anyone - just let McGregor do everything he can to win, and give him just enough success that people want to see it again.

And his BEST and only chance was to drain him. But deep down they were MOSTLY preying Ward would turn it down like he did...
      Stfu about Ward for crissake.

GGG never even asked him for a catchweight. They told him you want to fight at 168 get back to us when you've finished your tune-ups and GGG has finished his business at 160.

Golovkin said 50/50 everything including weight on ESPN or some other sports show the video was posted many times on here at the time.

He said 50/50 money and weight would be fair when asked about it in an interview.

Yeah .. it's funny how some idiots don't understand that what boxers say to the media about hypothetical situations should not be confused with negotiating terms for an actual fight..

Like when Ward was telling reporters he would go down to 160 for a fight with Floyd Mayweather. So if he would do 160 for Floyd, why didn't he offer to do it for GGG?

No cause for concern. I'm sure he plans on putting on a few extra pounds day of fight in order to keep up with Canelo's notorious weight gain on fight day. He already out himself at a weight disadvantage against Jacobs. Smart move this time around.

A couple of twitter pics from GGG's camp. To me, he looks the same as usual at this stage of his preparation.

Canelo is 27 it would be better for HBO if he won.

GGG is 35 and talking about retirement
