But with the political climate and tensions right now in the States , cant blame May weather for throwing it out there whether its factual or not, it gets more attention on this fight.

Whether it's their intent or not, there are definite racial undertones to this fight. I was at the press conference in Brooklyn and you can tell that for the fans there, this was 100% about race.

The majority of Mayweather fans are non-black. This is based on those I hear/see in real life talk about him and bring him up. Don't let the internet cloud your mind. Those YouTube channels have a few hundred thousand of the same people commenting/arguing constantly. Most of them you see the same names constantly.

Black guys don't watch boxing that much anymore and definitely don't talk about it that much on average. I'm convinced he has more Latino fans than anything. Yeah, casuals tune in for "events", but I don't consider them "fans."

I think Conor's core fan base is bigger than Floyd's. Boxing is just an establishment sport, so people tune in for Mayweather b/c he's currently the "best".

Have you ever been to Vegas when Floyd fights? lmao! African Americans love Mayweather! They support him and boxing for sure. I was at Rehab at the Hard Rock when he fought Maidana, I met so many AA's from all over the USA there. A lot from NY and Miami.

But in a sense I do agree, there are a lot of Latino and Caucasians that do support Floyd Mayweather, more than one would think at least.

Floyd has a tendency of speaking from both ends of his mouth. At first, in order to increase and boost ticket sales, he admitted to ESPN's Stephen A Smith that it was and now a week later he is walking back his original comments by saying that it isn't.

Please make up your mind Floyd which is it? He is about the most inconsistent and mutable person in the public eye that I have ever had the displeasure of hearing speak. He often makes statements just to apologize for and take them back later.

Just say what you mean and mean what you say May.

The history of boxing is filled by white vs black. Conor did not help by calling the Mayweather's monkeys. If you go on youtube and twitter it's filled with Monkey this and Monkey that. The video of Crawford making fun of Conor's weird warm up exercise has some of the most racists comments.

While Conor nor Floyd may be Conor, the racial element is very strong here
