Only reason people are running with this "Thurman is ducking Spence" narrative is because Floyd Mayweather said so.

1.) Thurman is quicker, more accurate with his punches.
2.) People site body work as if Thurman has gone down before yet he was punched solidly in the body by two guys with decent power and didn't fold.
3.) Thurman is a better outboxer and is better at using range, and not only that is better defensively.
4.) Spence is too easy to hit. There's a reason he didn't medal in the olympics. Thurman has spoken and shown that he has one of the highest ring I.Q's in boxing. The fact that Spence goes straight back or leans back when he expects to be attacked will be exploited.
5.) Spence is a great body puncher, but I've been watching boxing for years. Usually when prolific body punchers go against speedy guys with very good power that can counter them...they tend to get gun shy.
6.) Thurman hits harder than Brook, and or Spence..not to mention Thurman isn't a small welterweight, he's a big one. Size isn't just determined by height you know.
I said the same thing a while ago. Only thing Spence has over Thurman is Jab, cutting off the ring, and body work. This would literally be like GGG vs Canelo.

Spence needs another challenge before Thurman. Boxing people that saw the Brook fight knows Spence can't start off that slow with Thurman. In the Brook fight he was reaching, over throwing his punches and didn't have his legs and balance until round 3. I like Spence just saying he's got some more work to do.

You hope Crawford is running. I don't care about Spence's power, Crawford's skill level is on another level. A level that prevents the natural middle weight (Spence) from getting the better of Crawford. But sadly you will find...that Crawford isn't runnin' no where.

I agree with this. Thurman understands how win rounds, is difficult to handle b/t rounds 1-5, & definitely hits harder than Brook. Great fight!!

Im an individual and huge boxing fan. Oh and crawford is my favorite fighter and has been for years lmao. So im not sure the 'bandwagon' is still even around hahaha. Get a clue and stop being a group think champion. It looks fookin ******ed. Trust that
Crawford one of your favorites? I see you already setting yourself a matress to land on when Spence derails your Thurman hype train.

But how much boxing do you know compared to Crawford? Hehe...
When Kellerman asked Crawford about Spence, Crawford was so shook he refused to answer the question and FALSELY claimed that Spence is moving up to 154lbs.

So of course he aint gonna want Spence to win. Yes Crawford has more boxing knowledge than most of us here, but he's still a human being, therefore subject to bias and capable of lying, even to himself.

Thurman is good and all, but educated pressure would bust his pipes, Spence got that on lock. Crawford also beats Thurman by being the smarter boxer...now Bud vs The Truth? .. who tf knows, I'd pay a Ben Frank for it doe. The best of the best, too much skills combined.

Thurman isn't stationary enough when he wants to box[which he will do, he won't mix it up if he doesn't have to]
Thurman has shown amazing stamina, Spence isn't really good at being defensively responsible while he's on the attack. He also tends to drop his hands when throwing hooks to the body. Thurman drops his hands a lot too, but he's marginally faster than Spence. Look i'm not trying to tear down spence, I love him and he's great for boxing. I just think he has weaknesses that could be exploited by Thurman, just like I think Thurman has a few weaknesses that could be exploited by Crawford..and vice versa.

We crap on Garcia a lot, but he's a great counter puncher and has excellent timing.
Spence isn't really good at fighting off the back foot.
People talk about power...Shawn Porter has fought 165 pounders in the AM's and he admits that he has never felt power like Thurman.

Spence is good but Thurman mobility and power will win the day by decision.

I don't disagree. Or you could also say he doesn't like Spence's bullrushing style (like I do). Crawford ain't ready for that. Spence would get inside by hook or by crook.
