Surprised how long it took Spence to warm into that fight. He looked clunky and awkward for the first few rounds.

But he seems to have that Froch/Marciano element to him, where his chin and relentless pressure superceeds his faults and wears down superior boxers in the later rounds.

I would pick Spence over Thurman since the style mesh should really suit Spence's body work and eat into Keith's style of excessive movement.

I agree. Spence has yet to reach the peak of his powers -- he's still getting better. That's the scary thing. Whereas Keith, IMO, is at the peak of his powers right now.

The longer the fight takes to materialize, the more difficult of a hill Spence will be to climb.

Yeah Definitely...I think while spence is still abit 'raw' this is time for Thurman to strike, like you said though if he waits too long spebce could become near enough unstoppable at WW.

Had Spence Jr. fought Thurman 2 years ago, I would've predicted a win for "One Time" Keith Thurman. However, I don't think the version of Thurman that we've seen vs. Porter and Garcia, can beat "The Truth!" Spence Jr. showed that he could take Brook's power, and he showed that he has power even late in fights! I say Errol stops Keith in 9! I also think Crawford beats Thurman by UD!

I favor Spence but I can see it the other way as well. I favor Spence because of his power and chin I think he can handle what Thurman can dish out. Besides Spence attacks the body well and I think that will slow Thurman down in the later rounds as he likes to get on his bike in some rounds.

As for Crawford I think he should wait before moving to 147. I don't think he's ready for that yet.

"NO not all boxing fan's want to see Crawford campaign @ 147Lb unless he lose's to Indongo"! Unifications are rare in this day & age of greedy sanctioning bodies, manager's & promoters, so why can't a Champion defend his title a few times before eating a few pies? (It's fantastic & about time that we had a 100% genuine #1 Champ in the World), so why not embrace it? Thurman is close to unifying himself against the likes of Spence & Horn & Crawford still makes light-welterweight with relative ease so why not give it a bit of time & let the World have true Champions instead of phoney title holders?!!................

He was coming off the longest layoff of his professional career, so I understand the ring rust he had the first part of the fight. However, even with the ring rust, I still think he threw his punches intelligently in the first few rounds.

The body shots Errol lands breaks his opponents down. Had Kell done halfway through the fight, and Keith has been hurt by body shots from lesser known punchers.

He can try and stay on the outside, but Errol is great at cutting the ring off, and I happen to think Kell has better footwork than Keith does.

I think Errol puts him away late and the body work is what will do it imho.

I can see Errol stopping Thurman to the body & I can see Thurman keeping at bay & boxing on the outside to beat Errol on the cards.

Great analysis. I got Spence. Spence is willing to risk it more to get his man out
