That's an interesting take. Considering the type of user I am (I favor skills, boxing IQ, and versatility over everything else) I would usually favor someone like Thurman who can fight in a multitude of ways. However, I know special when I see it and Errol Spence is SPECIAL. He stops Thurman if they fight, he will not be denied

No doubt about it. No to mention the size/power factors.

Fighters do this all the time. They pick/side with the guy they'd rather face. Crawford is moving to WW, you can be sure he'd rather Keith took the W against Spence.

Floyd is doing the same with Canelo - GGG. There are countless other examples of this. Nothing in any of this imo.

Spence stood in there, taking Brooks' best shots and stalked him down.
Yeah it would be awesome to see this fight go down. And no, i dont care who agrees with me, theres a large group of ppl that think as a group and do and say what their groups do and that who i call sheeple. Proof? Donald Trump is prez lol. I think thurmans a very rounded fighter, can fight good, box good, and use ring good. If he would fight 3x a yr he could actually be a great fighter. Spence is real good as well. So, anyway, i hope this happens instead of thurman fighting a rematch that is un needed with porter or garcia. Bad thing is, right now to many ppl want rematches in so so fights that dont need them. Santa cruz is about to have one of those and danny garcia is probably sitting around teying to get one of those madr as well. Of all the talk about how 'great' the ww division is, theres lots of talk of rematches and fighters not being active imo

It's a shame we'll never see Crawford in with either of these guys.

I would also pick Thurman at this point in there careers. Thurman hasn't shown One-Time in a couple years, but his level of competition has also increased so it's not unusual that he isn't stopping people like he did earlier in his career. However what Thurman has shown is that has the will to win, and so far has always found a way to get the victory. He's crafty in that sense. I feel like he can actually be an even better fighter, but for that he will need to switch trainers IMO.

Spence is the goods though. He will be a force no matter what. He's not as proven yet, but that is just a matter of time.

I don't agree... by the time Thurman is back I'm guessing March or April at the earliest then he'll have be back in training, fight a fairly easy fight b4 he'll step up vs someone genuine ...we're looking at the end of 2018 and I still don't think it would be Spence... if they meet in 2019 Spence will beat him...

what does canelo vs ggg have to do with this? Floyd already beat canelo... Plus why the hell would he fight at 160 at 40 lol
