Comments Thread For: Showtime Start Legal War Over Mayweather-McGregor 'Streams'

Showtime is already staging a legal war against dozens of websites that are already promoting unauthorized streams of next Saturday's pay-per-view bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor. Mayweather-McGregor, taking place on August 26th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, has a hefty pay-per-view price tag of nearly $100 in the United States for an HD feed.

Espinoza is worried. CBS probably spent millions of dollars on promotion plus the guarantee for both fighters. They may end up with a negative balance sheet again. Bulk of the money all went inside Floyd's pockets. This will become obvious when Showtime can't produce meaningful fights for the rest of the year.

I don't think there's a PPV in the history of the world that more merits a free stream, two ******s always bragging about being rich fighting a bullshit fight.

The streams will be glorious that night.

Showtime can't do **** on European streams. Plenty of streams available from Europe on fight night.
