I think a lot of that has to do with times changing especially out on the streets. When I was growing up, the rule was don't start nothing and there won't be nothing. But when something did come, you got a fair one out in the street.

Even the smallest and weakest dude was willing to give you a fair one and that's how it was. Boxing back then was definitely enough.

Today though, in all honesty, these dudes act more like criminals with no honor. I see them all the time. They come out on weekends in gangs of 10 or more.

Not one pu**y among them will give you a fair one anymore but they got no problem jumping you all at once.

It's a got damn shame but you right. You need to know more these days because the streets have changed. Some guys that I know that are among the toughest dudes I've ever seen, now tell me that instead of putting up their hands they rather pack heat because odds are you not going to get a fair one anymore and that's real talk.

boxing is my favorite form of fighting buts it's pure ignorance to say other fight styles like muy Thai and jiu jitsu don't play a factor in a real fight you get put in that chokehold your ass will tap. Ever take some kicks to the shin? Yeah stop looking childish you too old for this.
I did MMA in 2006, **** is a joke. The best fighters in the house were huffing and puffing in the warm up. I wasn't even breathing hard.

I've had chokes put on me in street fights. I got out and handled biz.

If some clown ever tried throwing a kick on me in the street they would get their **** knocked in the dirt.

I used to give work to an ISKA champ while he was world champ in 2000 and would wreck him. He never gave me any problems. A couple of times he played like he was going to kick and I was out of the crease before he could get his foot off the ground.

      Kicking is for tai-bo hoes.

Of course MMA fighters get the benefit from using a speed bag. Why wouldn't an MMA fighter want fast reflexes, rhythm, and shoulder strength, especially when keeping arms up for long durations in the guard. Helps block kicks AND punches. Maybe its you that doesn't know what the speed bag is for?
You have to defend against take downs, kicks, knees, elbows and so on. Distance and stance is different. It was clearly you that didn't know. But cong**** on making use of the google machine, dip****.

It's criminal that he's never worked on the finer parts of boxing training. But then again, Brazilians have always been prehistoric and bums at boxing. Not a shocker here.
Please explain why the speed bag is a finer part of boxing.

I think I remember hearing that Chavez Sr. never really hit the speed bag.
