I had it close and him winning 7 rounds to 5?? It just to me like neither one really wanted the win and they were just trading punches like you hit me and wait. Now you let me hit you back.

Before the fight I thought Trout was gonna get smoked! Charlo had a huge size difference over Trout. He didn't even use his size difference at all. And his brother was getting his ass schooled every round before that 8th round KO.

True 3 years later and 2 loses later... He also wasn't coming of a career defining win.

Trout was also the one a couple of inches taller if I remember correctly??

End of the day hes got our attention. Lets see if he fights retired Rabbi's amd Gimps. Or put in some real work...

So.... Who should Canelo and Golovkin be fighting instead of Charlo and Jacobs?

Can't put anyone above Andre Ward unless they beat him. Until then he's the king, there's nobody with a better resume or better skill set. Plus GGG got called out by him a few times and didn't want it. LOL @ people wanting to put Gennady above him just because they like him more. Yeah he's exciting, lots of guys are exciting.

Otherwise there are a lot of fighters ahead of him on the list. Besides, look how and who he won against. Froch was his best win, and an ugly one at that. He fouled the shyt out of Kessler with head butts and elbows.
I was just making a point comparing their respective careers. If you consider what is recent, I'd still rank 2 Ws over Kovalev above a potential W over Canelo.
