Winner of this fight should be P4P #1. This is a fight most fans want to see, and so long as the winner does so convincingly and cleanly, there should be no question they are at the top of the list. Ward never belonged there in the first place. Loma, Crawford and Mikey Garcia are the only other ones who belong in the conversation. Spence isn't too far behind.

Well ESPN already has Golovkin as #1 and if he was to win this fight I expect him to move to #1 in Ring Magazine.

I'm not sure if ESPN would move Canelo to #1 but they should and same goes for Ring Magazine.

GGG/Canelo not in Ward's class

Neither Canelo/GGG have Ward's resume. Ward still number 1 P4P no matter who wins however they could be 3-4 on the list. Chocolatito still has to be #2 based on strength of schedule. From there put who you want.

It would be up for debate. But I think Ward still beats the winner out. Of course the winner could always go up to light heavy, beat Ward, and remove all doubt. Realistically, that would be more doable for GGG than Canelo. Canelo is only like 5'8/5'9 and already moving up to middleweight. GGG only gives up maybe an inch or so to Ward, and is a career middleweight. Ward spent most of his career at super middleweight. So there's not a huge size difference between the two.
