Go read pt barnums the art of promotion, is says nothing about using a name nobody knows in order to gain attention lol smh
has Loma not been asked by the press for the past few weeks about a fight with rigo? Has arum not been asked the same? So his name is mentioned as an option to try and keep boxing fans happy and then arum will then say he tried but rigo priced himself out or didn't respond to make it appear as if they really tried. This is vintage arum. Do you even watch boxing? Have you not been paying attention to what arum has done for the past hundred yrs? Say what you want about rigos style and opposition but he's better than the guys Loma has been getting into the ring with recently and he's definitely more skilled than Salido. Rigo's win vs donaire (who was ranked among the top pound for pound fighters at the time) is better than Loma's best wins of. Unproven Russell Jr and inactive walters.

I'm sorry. The Amagasa fight was a disgrace and that Flores fiasco was even worse. Rigo went from box office to basic almost overnight.

Besides, I still feel that Loma needs to learn from Lennox Lewis about avenging losses. A Rigo win doesn't do anything for him because Rigo hasn't been spectacular in the last two years. Salido wouldn't be much better, but at least they can sell the fact that Loma is trying to avenge the one loss on his record - like Adonis Stevenson did against Darnell Boone.
When the F**k was Rigo ever Box Office, that's the reason he aint had a significant fight other than Donaire coz he brings jack **** to the table. I'd be very surprised if this fight ever happens never mind next. Loma needs to start shouting for unifications @ 130 IMO and forget about Salido, he's done, theres no worth in beating him now!

So Rigondeaux will never make it on his own even without Arum for four years. Who is to blame this time? Arum? Why not? It's like a criminal blaming his parents for committing a crime or for being ugly. Yuk! He can't do no wrong.

The irony of people citing size & weight here in relation to Rigo. WTF was Donaire? A former Flyweight! 3 divisions below SBW (the weight Rigo fougt him!)... You have no problem giving Rigo credence for that one do you! Loma fights a SBW.. Boooo Boooooo same old whiny ass brothers.... Hagler barely beats former LW Duran or WW Hearns! Hopkins fight former SFW ODH or WW Trinidad! Yeyyy... Yeyyyyy Golovkin fights a LMW or a WWW Boooooooo.. LOOLLLL Tools!

Finally, Arum admits that he is the one who can make this happen and also he is the one who has been avoiding Rigo for so long on Loma path. How suddenly he admits he has the power to decide witch one to make it happens?. This Arum dirty man have a huge bag of tricks and excuses. He knows he has been offering disrespectful purses to make Rigo say no. Right now Arum has the way. Lets do it. Rigo is getting old

As for Salido may I just remind you all that Loma has 10 fights! For ANYONE Salido or Rigo is a worthy opponent! Idiots! Since he beat a green, novice, unbaptized to dirty boxing or the pros green cut Loma (i had it a draw) no one has beaten him convincingly! Vargas, Martinez, barring dodgy decisions Salido could have been a 6 time champion.. (He's 4 time right now) Cruz I, Vargas were very debatable to say the least! Suddenly he's old! So? Is it Lomas fault he's older? No. ****ing spastics. As for Rigo! That's a super fight you were all talking up until it looked close! Now the excuses are incoming already... It's a purists dream! But he's small doe... Nobheads looollll can't speed & skill negate size? You had no problem with FMJ fighting former Fly PAC tho did ya! Rigo fighting former Fly Donaire! Hopkins fighting WW Trinidad! Crawford fighting Gamboa!

ive forgotten more about boxing then you will ever be open to comprehending. The bottom line is rigo has no name so throwing his name out about a fight IS NOT a click bate tactic. All the other stuff you say is a non discussion unless the fights happen. And yes promotors and fighters use ppl name in order to gain attention. No, rigo isnt one of those name that gain attention lol. I would like to see tge fight, but thats notwhat i was talking about, my point is, HE HAS NO NAME RECOGNITION. Geesh man work on concentration and then comprehension please. I understand when pac and jr would do it is was to stay in headlines, all big time promotors do this, it is a part of promotion. BUT he might as well said steven mccowan was an option next to rigo. That woulda been about the same as saying the name rigondieux to the public at large. You on the other hand cant seem to grasp the point
