It's an interesting fight, but when fans don't want to see fights happen, it's like they are worried that their favorite fighter will lose. If Rigo is bluffing, call his bluff and let's see what happens. I would think that you would want to see Loma to KO Rigo and shut his mouth.

Forget the past, Rigo wants the fight now. In the past Loma called out Garcia, but when Garcia said let's go, Loma got quiet. So this can go both ways. Otherwise, who do you think Loma should fight? Another Miguel Marriaga level opponent? Or will he move up and fight Mikey?

He should take the Rigo fight. Everyone hates Rigo so much they should be happy to see him get knocked off and shut up. But Arum and Klimas know better, they won't take the risk of putting Loma in wth Rigo. And Loma's fans don't want to see the fight either. This tells us who they think the real threat is.
Loma did call out Mikey but never went quiet. Mikey is the one that said he needs to move up and fight a titleholder to prove himself first. But more recently Mikey said he could just move up and fight him when they met each other. Loma told him to his face that he didn't look good in his opinion in the Broner fight. I don't agree with Loma at all but that's his opinion. Mikey could say the same about Loma in his last fight. Loma made it clear that he wants a titleholder at 130 or Salido who he's been chasing. Rigo is all talk and that video proves it. When the fight could've been realistically made he pulled out of negotiations after agreeing to the conditions (weight with rehydration clause and money) before they were put to paper. But now he wants to move up 2 divisions and fight Loma when he'll be 37 as Loma is now in his prime and the weight mattered before when they were only 4 pounds apart and now they're 8 apart but it isn't an issue anymore? Ok. Something smells funny there.

I'd love to see them fight to hush him but a fight with Salido would at least allow him to even the score and avenge the loss. Loma won't move up and fight Mikey at 135 without seeing how he feels there first and Mikey knows that. It's why Mikey is now open to fighting Loma at 135 without seeing how he looks first. Mikey also knows Loma has a contract to fight on ESPN while he's a free agent that currently fights on Showtime. Hmm.

If Rigondeaux can move 8 pounds to fight lomachenko. I think 5 pounds for lomachenko is not that hard to make to fight Mickey...

You have no problem giving Rigo credence for that one do you! Loma fights a SBW.. Boooo Boooooo same old whiny ass brothers.... Hagler barely beats former LW Duran or WW Hearns! Hopkins fight former SFW ODH or WW Trinidad! Yeyyy... Yeyyyyy Golovkin fights a LMW or a WWW Boooooooo.. LOOLLLL Tools!
Donaire had cleaned out the division, and was Fighter of the Year for his work in the division.

Lets not go revising history, and not pretend the Donaire IMMEDIATELY moved up in weight after the loss.

Mikey is a big Lightweight and Rigo is a small Super Bantamweight fighter. Moving up 8 pounds for a guy that's a very small 122 sounds like bs to me. Loma can move up to fight Mikey at Lightweight for his title so I agree. He already moved up 4 pounds, remember? Rigo has never moved up in his career and Loma did after only 6 fights.

Rigo has to fight an immediate rematch with Moises Flores and that's expected to take place around November while Loma is fighting in December. I doubt Rigo would vacate his WBA Super title to fight Loma then. The WBA will strip him if he doesn't fight him next though he'll still be the lineal champion unless he moves up permanently to Featherweight or Super Featherweight.

Lol, being the A side of ****ty mismatches does not make you box office bro. There are a small handful of fighters that are Box Office and Rigondeaux is not on that list and never will be.

You BECOME A-side because of your ability to sell fights. He's a name, despite not being a multi-million closer.

By your logic Golovkin isn't box office either.
