In fairness Conor's guy stole the arm thing from the great Rickson Gracie (the real badass in the Gracie family, Royce didn't have sh^t on Rickson if you know about MMA).

If you stand outside and do that I guarantee the USA government will happily grant you a monthly check.

He did not steal that from Rickson.. That is a warm up used frequently in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu before and after Rickson started doing it. Old time fighters also used a similar warm up for loosening the arms! There's video of Jack Dempsey doing it as well as Ali in the build up to both Foreman and Holmes

Where's a video of Dempsey doing it?

My understanding is its part of some sorta yoga/BJJ "energy" thing created in the 80's & it doesn't go back THAT far, but elements of it could have existed previously, like this specific rubber arm thing so fair play.

And I wasn't saying Rickson invented it I'm saying Conor's cakeboy Ido Portal hijacked it via Rickson. I believe he's straight up said that.

I need to find the specific video, it was a compilation of Dempseys career and training, it definitely was not the Reznick video but it was a similar one, I'll get back to you with that.

I'm sure Portal did take it from Rickson, the guy was an innovator and Portal's training lineage is from Movement Naturál that Rickson proclaimed. The warmup itself is not from an energy thing, that is specifically to loosen up, I believe the energy thing you may be referring to is Rickson's breathing technique that he does.
