    PLOT TWIST!

Canelo was also taking it easy on GGG, and in fact has been taking it easy his entire career since, including taking it very easy on Floyd, in order to one day lure GGG into the ring. See, Canelo has been in big PPV fights before, but against Floyd and even Cotto, Canelo had to take a smaller cut of the revenue because they were stars before he was. In order to make not just a huge PPV, but one where Canelo would be the A-side, where Canelo would get the lions share of the money, Canelo needed to find a future-star opponent who wouldn't become a star until after Canelo had already become a bigger, more established PPV star himself.

So when Canelo saw GGG training at Big Bear, he said to himself, "that guy has the talent and personality to be a big star one day, so what I need to do is take it easy on him here in sparring, and then take it easy on Floyd in our fight, so that when GGG finally does become a star, I can move up to middleweight and he won't be afraid to fight me, and then I can get a majority of the money."

Remember folks, this is Turista Mundial, not checkers. This is Turista Mundial with a little mix of Loteria and even some Inis to help Canelo access the dormant ancient knowledge of the Irish side of his ancestry in his subconscious. Remember, this game is 80% mental, and only 30% physical. When Canelo frustrates GGG so badly September 16th that GGG starts throwing repeated low blows like Golota until he's disqualified, remember I said that.

hehehe, can't argue with that Boxing Logic.

Canelo is a "Usual Suspects" movie level mastermind. Keysernelo!

Canelo has definitely fine-tuned his skills this past 5 years. The thing is that he'll be relying heavily on footwork along with pot-shot to quick combos to keep GGG off of him. I don't think Canelo has the power to hurt GGG at all as his KO power was at WW. I see this ending in Canelo getting hurt in the later rounds when he gets tired from all of the movement. GGG will cut off ring and hurt Canelo - I'm just praying that if it turns into a hit and run kind of fight that the judges don't mess up the scoring....This is indeed the REAL fight for boxing---
Not FLOYD vs lil Big Mac - i'll watch the replay of that Crap

I'm always fascinated by sparring stories. It doesn't matter if Golovkin took it easy on Canelo because it was SPARRING! They fight for real in September. I doubt either one will take it easy for a REAL FIGHT!

Old and shot? Lol gtfo! Jacobs made him look bad because jacobs is a solid fighter. Anything to discredit a possible canelo win. Boxing has worst fans i swear.

I myself had Hagler favorite then. But - as I wrote - a lot of people were fooled into thinking that Hearns would win since they were blinded by his success at welterweight.

I see a "conceptual" parallel there, in that I am starting to feel that Canelo will be brutally knocked out by GGG.

It is not written in stone, though...

I'm not going to lie just to big Canelo up. The point is a few years back it would have been a mismatch. Now GGG is shot and Canelo actually has a chance.

I think Canelo's ego is going to get the best of him. He's going to elect to trade more so than he probably should in an attempt to knock GGG out to shun the critics. This might work against him...

I'm a fan of neither. That's just the truth. Deal with it.
