Lol indeed. On another note, he's not light years ahead of other fighters in MMGAY that can box. There's been a host of them with actual REAL experience. Even Holly Holm has better boxing abilities. Seriously, why can't some of you pole smokers get it? The guy literally looks like a clown in every video I've seen. Even the VERY basic fundamentals he lacks. His hand height, how low he brings his punches back, how wide he throws his punches, etc. And why in the **** do some people think he chose paulie anyway? Because he was a 2 weight world champion that's been passed his best, he's never fought above 147 AND he isn't a puncher. Even if he spared berto and "won" the whole session, that would mean nothing because Floyd already beat a 2 year younger version of Andre, though I think Berto would have to go easy on mcpenis because even with his arm punches, he can still crack.
Why it's NOT bad for boxing if McGregor wins

If MC wins, UFC will be gloating about it forever that they are superior to boxing and you can count on that happening in the thousands of articles, threads across the world, interviews, magazines, and boxing will not be able to defend that, even if that is not true. And if that happens, Floyd will become massively hated, even by his fans for doing a money grab and compromising the sport of boxing and creating its biggest embarrassing moment in its history. No true boxing fan should be pulling for MC.Comment

Yea I tend to agree McGregor winning is not only not bad for boxing it'd probably be a good thing. Too many boxing fans can't see the forest for the trees doe but Conor winning kicks the boxing status quo square in the balls. And if there is anything boxing needs its for something or someone to shake sh^t up much to the old timers dismay.
I'd also argue a new fresh entity coming into boxing from outside of boxing potentially brings in a younger fanbase which is something boxing badly needs. If Conor somehow pulls a W in 2 weeks there will surely be a nice % of new boxing fans created on that day having seen Conor get rid of the "bad guy" Mayweather. I bet a lot of boxing fans would be excited as f#ck if Conor came in & did exactly like he said he was gonna do cuz if boxing fans are anything they are fairweather so they'd jump on the Conor War Wagon in a millisecond & be talking about Conor vs Canelo within minutes of the W.
That said it isn't happening unless Floyd just fell apart in the last 2 years, but its a fun lil thing to theorize about.Comment

It ****s on the hardwork and skill these boxers have trained for their entire lives, and completely makes the 'sweet science' into a laughing stock.
After all if Connor could beat Floyd who is one of the most technically versed fighters of all time what does it say about his skill and boxing in general.Comment

Floyd is 40. He's not fought in 2 years. It's not uncommon for that guy who's 40ish and hasn't boxed in a couple years to not be the same guy.pretty much this

I know Floyd was a bad mofo, but do we really know if Floyd is still a bad mofo? I say no we don't. Is it likely he is? Yea that's a solid bet that I've actually made, but a solid bet doesn't always equal a winning bet.Comment

Good post, but if Conor somehow wins (1% chance), he'd need to ditch MMA and focus on boxing. The Paulie fight is all but setup to make over a million buys. Hell, that fight is still there even if Conor gets destroyed. It'd make more money and sell more buys than the dangerous Khabib in the octagon. There's also Pacquiao and Jeff Horn.Comment

But is always comes down to public perception and the massive wave will pour down on Boxing in a very bad way of MC wins.Floyd is 40. He's not fought in 2 years. It's not uncommon for that guy who's 40ish and hasn't boxed in a couple years to not be the same guy.
